The riad is beautiful, charming and clean, run by two brothers, Youssef and Anas, who were the best hosts we have ever had in our stays. They really are the definition of hospitality!

The location was quiet, close to Jemaa el-Fna and within walking distance of all the tourist attractions in the medina, so it's a great starting point for exploring Marrakesh.

From the day we checked in, we met Anas and got a bunch of recommendations for things to do in the city, which was super helpful for us. He even went out of his way to help us buy SIM cards and pack some souvenirs on our last day!

In the evenings we had a lot of good conversations with Youssef, who was also very friendly and welcoming - he even offered to pack our breakfast one day when we had to leave early for a day trip.

Speaking of breakfast, it was very filling and delicious! We'll miss the mint tea, the fresh orange juice and the good food on the roof of the riad - but most of all we'll miss the two brothers who helped make our trip unforgettable!

We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Marrakech!

We stayed here for one night and would recommend it to other travelers. The riad’s staff are super communicative, gave us a lot of information about the surrounding area and helped us with our big bags. We enjoyed our traditional breakfast on the roof terrace.

Our room (#5) was slightly tight with our large suitcases, but it was very clean, had good lighting and a small seating area outside. The bathroom was a very good size and the bed was extremely comfortable!

We had a perfect stay at this riad. The brothers who run this riad are very kind. They gave us recommendations for wich places to see, where to get food, where to get money for the best exchange rate,… The rooms were clean and comfortable. The riad is only five minutes walking from the main square, yet inside it was very quite. The breakfast they serve each morning is delicious. We asked to have an early breakfast because we were going on a day trip and this was no problem. They have a rooftop terrace that is perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. The room and bathroom are cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. Would definitely stay here again!

The two brothers running the place are so nice. They gave us a lot of helpful tips about what to visit. The hotel itself is located close to the busy fastfood street of Medina, but there is no noise at the hotel at all. It also has a nice rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the delicious breakfast they serve. I would definitely come here again for my next visit to Marrakech!

I wouldn’t see much point in staying anywhere else when I go back to Marrakesh, the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful, the hotel offer a transfer service which I would highly recommend as the driver is lovely and it’s such a seamless experience. The rooms are nice, as it the entire riad particularly the roof terrace which has amazing view’s especially during sunset. location is perfect, less than one minute away from street food, shops and restaurants, also less than ten minutes walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa.

Could not speak more highly of this Riad. Both my partner and I stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Marrakech. The service from both Anas and Youseff is impeccable. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Upon check in, we were greeted with mint tea and the Anas took the time to draw his favourite places both in and outside of the Medina and recommend restaurants (hidden bonus). The rooms are spacious, perfect bathrooms, fresh towels and products. The daily breakfast is abundant and delicious, as is the spectacular rooftop terrace. The location is perfect, just a 6 minute walk to the main square and You get to enjoy the beautiful alleyways of shops and stores along the way. My partner and I happened to be here for the recent earthquake and personally want to thank Anas and Youseff for their unwaving effort to ensure all of the guests safety above their own. They woke us up promptly and did everything to ensure everyone was well accounted for and comforted, even during their own fear. We are forever grateful and will return to this beautiful Riad in Marrakech one day. 💕 we will always remember Anas and Youseff!

Beautiful riad in a hidden alley, not far from the main square. First we were worried of the location of the accommodation when we walked through the alleys but there is nothing to worry about, there are lots of other accommodations and tourists nearby and even late night / early in the morning we had no trouble. The staff is excellent, we were in touch mainly with one young gentleman who was really friendly, helpful and communicative (with great English). He welcomed us with one of the best mint teas that we had during the two weeks (and we tried a lot!). We were sad because we only spent here our last day of our Moroccan trip, this riad is a hidden gem. The interior is spectacular, the rooms and the terrace are lovely, so as the view from the top. Since we left early (during dawn), we got a pre-packaged breakfast for which we are really grateful too. They also have their own airport transport service for completely reasonable fees, if you are interested.

Everyone raves about the hospitality of Anas and his brother and I understand why. We all have jobs that we do with some degree of skill (or not ...) but it is much rarer to come across people like them who have a vocation for what they are doing. Can't speak highly enough of them.

A beautiful riad. I cannot understand why people would come to Morocco and stay in a western style hotel. Staying in a riad is one of the best parts of visiting the city.

If you've never been to Marrakech before I strongly recommend you taking up their offer of an arranged ride from the airport. So much easier than navigating the airport taxis, and you would not find the place easily yourself the first time.

Good wifi too!

All the reviews speak of how friendly and helpful the owner of the riad is and this is true. From helping us get a scale to weigh our luggage to organizing packed breakfasts for us (because we had to leave early), nothing was too much trouble for him or his brother. This is a family run business of two brothers and they do a great job. The rooms were comfortable, the terrace nice to sit at and the breakfasts were delicious. If you are keen on staying in a medina in Marrakech, this one is worth it.

This riad was one of the best decisions we made in Morocco. Anas and his brother were so hospitable and went out of their way to help us during our stay—from letting us store our luggage to booking an airport taxi for us. Super price-worthy, cozy, and a breath of fresh air in an otherwise hectic medina. Highly recommend.

Great accomodation in a tipical Moroccan Riad.
Good position, 7 min walking from Jeema El Fna square. Our room was clean, very comfortable and quite. Every day cleaning service and clean towels. On the top there is a nice terrace with tables, chairs and a wonderful view.
I would absolutely recommend Riad Vis ta Vie especially for the kindness and the warm hospitality of the host Anaas who came to bring us at the taxi and welcomed us with a delicious tipical mint tea, providing usefull information and advices on Marrakech. Every day a tipical rich breakfast was prepared and served at the moment.
It has been a wonderful stay and I would warmly suggest everybody who want to spend some day in Marrakech to stay there.

I highly recommend this place - a cozy, quiet, beautiful riad, centrally located and great for exploring the city. The host welcomed us late at night and the next day helped us with all logistics questions we had. Such a great service, nice people and lovely view from the rooftop terrace! Do not think twice 😊.

Great riad with the best host - Ahnas is so genuine, welcoming, helpful, cheerful and kind. Goes above and beyond to lend a hand, nothing is too small or large. He gives honest advice about attractions in Marrakech, and is all around great to chat to. Ahnas brother was also around to assist, and it was great to support a family owned spot.

The riad itself is comfortable and well maintained, with daily housekeeping, a cute terrace to watch sunset over the city from, and delicious well sized breakfast with a little delicious surprise variation each day.

Our stay in Marrakech was extra special thanks to Ahnas and the riad, cannot recommend enough!

Top notch customer service from Anas and his brother Youssef in a great riad. Centrally located in a quiet area, great traditional breakfast including fruits and local breads. Wonderful rooftop terrace, and a warm welcoming overview of the area when you check-in. Whatever your need may be, they're there to help. I could not have asked for more!

Our experience at Vis ta Vie Riad was better than we could have imagined. Anas and Yousef were hugely nice to us and helped us with every little thing, even when they did not have to. Asan is most likely the best host I have ever meet and I do and will always recomend to stay at this Riad for future Marrakech visitors. It will improve your expirience in the city, hands down.

I would give the service 10 stars if I could. Anass was the most helpful and friendly host we could have asked for and then some. Amazing experience. Hotel itself is in a good location, is pretty, well maintained, has a nice rooftop area. Affordable price as well.
