Dar Kika Salam By DKS

If you are looking real experience of a RIAD with a touch of great hospitality, than go to DKS in Rabat. We stayed there in February 2024. The host and service is great as well as location (especially because it is accessible by taxi and it is in medina). Check on the map before going. Taxi leaves you at the small square only 2 minutes straight walk from DKS . We enjoyed the atmosphere, sleeping, kindness, breakfast on the terrace…

Really enjoyed our stay in this amazing rhiad. Beautiful rooftop terrace where breakfast is served which also has a plunge pool. Perfectly situated at the edge of the medina. The service was excellent, from the lovely breakfast each morning to the rooms being cleaned every day the staff looked after us so well.

Everything was wonderful. Clean rooms, great service, great breakfast, super location, and so beautiful. Walking distance to the Medina, restaurants, the Casbah, the waterfront, and banks. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The rooftop Terrace makes it worth every penny. The views...wow!

This riad is smartly placed at the the west end of the Medina, is a fantastic comfortable family run Riyad with a handful of rooms, the best part about this whole thing is a rooftop pool in the views... They are conditioning is absolutely sensational. Sensational the beds are pretty comfortable, but the location is fantastic, situated right outside of a casbah and within feet of the Medina everything is walkable. Walkable taxis are right outside and everybody is so friendly and so we go to help, never at any point. Did we not feel safe in the staff? Was just absolutely sensational breakfast was served on the rooftop. It was traditional. Coffee was amazing. The staff was just fantastic. Can't say enough about that. Worth taking your time and staying here... The location was just phenomenal

Riad is comfortable, amazing view from rooftop where u can also have breakfast and have a dip in the pool or sunbathe . Location is also perfect. Recommend 10/10⭐

Top experience, you're not seeking here a 5 stars facility, that must be remembered, but you're getting the good memory instead. Rooms are clean and neat, although I missed a socket or two to connect chargers etc. Bathroom was a bit too small to call it comfortable but still functional. The attention of our host Hicham was exceptionally good, from the reception to the breakfast time where he's been kind and attentive, also we were able to leave our back bags for some extra hours after checking out while having a tour through the old city. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a genuine Moroccan staying in Rabat, very close to some nice stuff around to visit and sightseeing.

We could only stay for one night so we'll definitely be back on next occasion!!

The rooms were beautiful and very authentic.
The furniture was traditional and beautiful too. Also the walls and ceiling. Very comfortable beds.
we had to wait longtime before we had hot water once . But the rest of the time it was fine.
And that there was any kind of little animal in the wall that was causing noise – not too loud. But we never got to see this little friend.

The breakfast was very good and diversified. Stunning view! The roof was a highlight with its pool and absolute stunning view over the city.
The entrance hall was very cozy and welcoming.

The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful in any way. They always were happy to provide us with information and definitely went the extra mile.
I would go back any time!

Beautiful Riad and Amazing Staff!

On a recent business trip to Rabat, as I always do when traveling to Morocco, I booked rooms in a Riad, located in the old medina. On arrival, we were greeted with a nice Moroccan tea, by the manager, Hicham. My room was beautifully decorated in traditional mosaic tiles, had a private bathroom and one of the most comfortable beds ever. Though I would have preferred a bathtub, my bathroom had a shower. Be careful if walking into the bathroom at night, as there is a sharp corner on the shower stall that you can easily step on and cut your foot.

The riad is located close enough to the outer edge of the medina so you don't have to walk far from the parking lot, but easily within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

The rooftop terrace is wonderful for breakfast or afternoon tea, with expansive views over the city and river below.

We booked dinner with the hotel, mainly due to many places being closed because of Covid-19. I'm very happy we did, as the food was sublime. Jamai, the chef is an expert at Moroccan cuisine. In fact, we catered our flight home from the riad, and my Boss said it's the best Moroccan food he's ever had. I'd tend to agree.

If you find yourself traveling to Rabat, you owe it to yourself to stay at the Riad Dar El Kabira Salam. Note that they're changing their name to Dar Kika, so make sure you watch for them.

Superb Riad. Service Is second to none. Hishim is an absolute star. Great location on edge of Medina and food is top notch. Lovely terrace for breakfast and relaxing 😎

I want to commend Aziza and Abdelilah for their warm welcome and world class customer service, we were immediately greeted by Aziza upon arrival and she did set us up with very traditional cozy spacious room !!!
Abdelilah was very kind to help us carry our luggage from the car to the Riad.
Then, comes the welcoming Moroccan hospitality where we were offered complimentary traditional Moroccan tea & tasty cookies as gesture of kind welcome!
I will definitely recommend this Riad to my friends In the USA and family !!!

All the staffs and managers were so friendly and great! The decoration and the view in the rooftop is incredible! The breakfast here is the best, and we got lots of useful and helpful information as well. Thanks again to provide us such a warm and fantastic experience in Rabat to release our pressure on the first day in Morocco :)
