Mausoleum of King Hassan the 5th.. a historic and scenic place with architectural elegance. One of the key places to visit while in Rabat. The hassan tower (12th century incomplete tower) is also located here. It closes around 7pm so try to reach before that time. No ticket is needed to visit the tombs

Impressive tower and the most beautiful construction I saw during my time there. Though, I would have liked a guide to understand more of the historical background of this marvelous place.

An amazing place to visit with your friends and family. Inside the tomb is very beautiful architectural work, it’s extra ordinary.

A historical place in Rabat with a great history behind. Everything looks very clean, a very touristic place. We also visited the tombstone of the MOhammed V King of Morocco.

Historical site, unfortunately, the mosque tower remains incomplete. However, you can still appreciate the Moroccan architect's, the texture is truly impressive.
If completed, I can imagine it resembling the Khoutoubia Tower.

Beside the mausoleum, so might as well walk around it. Immense tower that was to be the largest minaret in the world. But they ran out of money, I guess. About halfway done. You can trace the thick stone walls of the mosque that was to be built but never got done.

Nice view of water and adjacent park.

Great sightseeing spot in Rabat. Really interesting to see how the Mosque was planned and also the buildings around are very very nice. Beside of this you have a great view at the Theatre. Must see for everyone visiting Rabat.

Perfect for an evening walk and lots of photo spots. Seems a favourite destination for locals with families too. A few vendors selling juice and snacks. Free entry and no need to buy any tickets.

A great place to visit and of course, one Rabat's renowned landmarks. Astounded by how well maintained the Hassan tower is, considering its age. The courtyard is open and spacious, interspersed with columns of varying heights. Highly recommend a visit.

Cool landmark to see, can see for free. Take photos as you drive by or stop in and walk through the gates when they are open. Interesting history you can look up on your own.

Absolutely beautiful architecture - unfortunately it was unfinished. I wonder what it would look like if it was completed. Beautiful work from flood to the walls n doors. Unable to enter the mosque if it’s not a prayer time. Nice place to take pics.

Important point of Morocco about history and culture. Mosque (by Yakup el Mansour), tower (by Hassan) and mausaleum (tomb) since 1971 for father of Morrocco (indipendance king) 5. Mohammed. Have 2 gate in east and west and everytime 2 guard cavaliers wait in both of gates.

If you have only one thing to see in Rabat, this is the best way to spend your time. Here you can enjoy one of the most elegant and beautiful sqare of morocco. On the entrace's right the Hassan tower square, beatufully adorned with several rows of columns that end in a beautiful water fountain. On thw left the beautiful tomb, beautifully adorned with thousands of mosaic tiles, and precious marbles. Unfortunately not open at the time of our visit, a beautif garden with a nice view of the tourist harbour.
