Restaurant "Fez Café"

The food is amazing and the service impeccable. The menu changes regularly based on what is in season. We had the best lamb of our trip and an amazing chicken tajine with the best figs I've ever tasted (apricots and almonds also). The panacotta dessert was so creamy and amazing.

We also had a small situation that was embarrassing for us and the staff handled everything with grace and kindness. We were very very appreciative.

I highly recommend this restaurant when you visit Fes.

Magical. We arrived early and wandered the garden, which in addition to its gorgeous plant life also features a variety of collections from the owners many years in Morroco. The food was fresh and delicious & we were also happy to indulge in some excellent local wine. Highly recommend.

Cafe Fez is a gem and illustrates the beauty behind the walls. The garden is immaculately kept up and provides for a beautiful back drop of the cafe’s terrace. The quality of the food matches the location and wait for it….you can have a cocktail, beer and wine. The host is very affable ant takes care to call out the spicey dishes. One of the few places we visited that does not show its age. Check out the roof top terrace. At night the Moroccan lights make for a gorgeous hang out for a picture perfect cigarette.

They managed to rustle up an excellent impromptu vegetarian menu for me; the sign of a good kitchen is making veggie food that tastes good.

My overall favorite place in Fez. It's not cheap but that about all you can say about this place that is not perfect. The lush vegetation is beyond very beautiful and the service is super friendly and casual.
Their menu varies regularly and everything we tried was delicious as well as their home made drinks.

Definitely one of the pricier places in the area, but they serve alcohol, the food was good and the garden atmosphere is awesome

It's a beautiful restaurant with good service. They have the best mussels recipe. The prices a fair roughly £7/€6 fot starter and £12/€14 for mains, which is reasonable for a European restaurant and the quality offered. Good wine and beer available. Swimming pool just for hotel guests (if you looking to use the facilities some other riads let you use the swimming pool) Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Garden was very beautiful but we came during winter so we stayed inside. Decor was charming and cozy. Had the steak and potatoes which had a really nice gravy sauce. Also had a salad with goat cheese and eggplant and shared both with my wife. It was the perfect amount of food.
Nice touch was the high quality olive oil served with bread when seated.

They serve wine and cocktails. Not the cheapest place around especially if you order drinks but we were very happy overall.

Edit: went back twice so far and each time tried something new (menu changes each day). Everything so far has been superb quality.

Beautiful restaurant set in a lush garden within the medina. We had the Moroccan salads and lemon chicken tagine and both were delicious. They also serve alcohol. Overall it was a lovely meal. Highly recommended!

What a gem in Fez Medina with a gorgeous garden and amazing food! We went there for lunch and they had 5 different options, comprising 3 small meals in a single plate - here are the Lebanese and Sicilian menus. Unfortunately, there are some faux guides around who try to fool you, so that they can take you to "their mother's restaurant" - just ignore them and follow the signs.

Super cute space, silent and vert cute cats around! The food is also great and de owner is very nice :)

We had dinner here and were amazed by the amazing garden that surrounds the restaurant, which makes you completely forget the busy medina for a moment. The food was all right, just a bit expensive for Maroccan standards, but I guess you also pay for the quiet gardens. They also serve alcohol if you feel like having wine, beer or liquor.

We sat on the terrace in winter with the heater on and it was so nice to have the garden view and lights. We had the fish pastilla which was one of our fave dishes we had in Fes. All the food we had was yummy and enjoyed finding one of the few places that had (Moroccan) wine! Was more expensive but was very much worth it.

We came here after reading about it in the New York Times and we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent and the garden is beautiful. I would definitely come here again.

A gem of a restaurant tucked within the confines of the medina. We stumbled across by accident and entered into a beautiful garden on the way to the restaurant. Then the food even surprised the ambiance. It was like being in a fine French restaurant and I can easily say this is the best meal I've had in Morocco so far.

The hammam we had here was the best (yes they do have a hammam). I can only compare it to hammam experiences I had in other countries but the lady gave us a 5 star experience. She was very caring and attentive and cleaned and scrubed us top to bottom (literally). It's not like those hammams you see in films or hear about where women get together and play around with water etc (just me? Ok) but very small and personally which makes it feel exclusive. We paid 330 dirhams. It was worth every dirham! Thank you lady- sorry cant remember her name ( we came on the 12th feb 3pm).

The amazing atmosphere and the beautiful garden makes this restaurant such a great place to have a nice meal or enjoy a few drinks while cooling off after a long walk through the amazing city of Fez. It's one of the few places that also serves Alcoholic drinks. The food is tasty and delicious. I can only recommend visiting this amazing restaurant.

Food, service and location are great. Price is well above average, maybe slightly overpriced. Still recommended for a relaxing lunch/dinner.
