My girlfriend and I loved this tucked away restaurant. The food and environment were both very authentic and our server Asmiel was great with perfect English and recommendations.
The seating was also really nice as we dined on couches tucked away in a semi-private room.

Sorry for the bad photos but lighting was dim, as it should be, for dinner :)

I will highly recommend this restaurant to all people find the best food in Fes. Had two meals here during Ramadan. Everything we tried fantastic. I loved Moroccan style salad as the starter here.

Super nice guy and really good food. They have menu only, but it is possible to order 1 menu for 2 people. For us it was more than enough. Like this place!

The place is very cute and comfortable. The food is very tasty and served in the perfect amount, with the famous Moroccan mint tea with crackers at the end... The perfect ending! The service was amazing, the people are very friendly and professional. I recommend it 100%.

Cozy Restaurant to get out of the Sun
I had the lemon chicken tajin (Menu 1) which came with 5 different cooked vegetable salads (beetroot, carrot, eggplant, tomato, cucumber) and bread.
The chicken Fell apart as it was very well prepared, best tajin I had in Fes!

I guess vegetarians will be happy here as well, as the salad assortment was superb

Good food, nice setting. Starters and bread were offered for free with main course. About 10 to 15 Euro per person, so quite expensive. Staff don't speak English, only French, and no English menu. There is a service fee of 7%.

The beef & plum tangine was one of the best tangines we had in Morocco. Don’t forget to also try the almond smoothie - a smooth milkshake with almond and banana. It’s a family owned restaurant and the service was top notch, they gave us a top up of the special dishes we liked in the Moroccan salad and also a complimentary dessert as a welcome to Fes! Great hospitality. The decor was opulent and exquisite as well, a nice ambiance that felt like you were dining in a traditional riad. Highly highly recommend visiting! 😊

Beautiful experience; food was amazing (chicken with almond tagine was best we’ve had our entire trip), team was friendly and so welcoming- thanks to Zuhir for keeping us laughing - and the architecture was just so beautiful. The home is also a part of Fes’s history and legacy- built in 1281- and well preserved by the family; Ismail and Rashid, were gracious, and humble and kind. Will be sharing this hidden gem with everyone and will be returning! You must go and experience for yourself!!

Highly recommended! We had some tea with the owners of the restaurant in a lovely cozy living room - atmosphere, felt just like hanging out with friends! Also, the food was amazing and we got to know a lot of different Moroccan flavors. Great hospitality, one of the best ways to experience another culture!

Perfect restaurant with excellent service. Prices are good and the food is also very good. Location is a bit hidden, but it's worth to search for it!

This is a family restaurant, the host was very welcoming and the food delicious. We went for lunch, got harira soup and several moroccan salads, very tasty!! The price was also very reasonable.

The best food ever eaten in Marocco. Everything was fresh and tasty. The vegetable cous cous was amazing and the brochettes the pulet simply fantastic. The location of the restaurant is typical because you eat in an old riad with arab music. You should try absolutely this restaurant before leaving Fes. Thanks to Ismail our gently and kildly person that has served us the food smiling and making us a beautiful feeling and to the best guide of Fez Mehid that suggest this place ❤❤❤

A wonderful meal filled with diverse salads and (be careful to leave enough room for the main dish) and an amazing sweet lamb tagine with prunes and almonds. The menu is organized in a series of tables d'hôtes, we shared and it was ample even though we had arrived with huge appetites. Beautiful atmosphere and the host Ismail was very friendly, and shared the history of this building which dates back to the 13th century. A feast for all the senses!!

Good value for money, the salads were great - the set menu is all the same except you choose your main which determines the price. House built in 1281, interesting history, friendly hosts.

What a charming place. The staff was super friendly. The food was great, took a menue and were surprised by every meal. We can recommend the pastille ;) we came with our 9 months old daughter who was warmly taken by the sister of the waiter. They also placed a heater in front of our table which is really comfortable. Didn't find the place at first but pretty sure they'll place some hints in the future. They're just 20 days open. We would come here again !

Fantastic family run restaurant that's well worth seeking out. Not exactly where Google maps marks it as being , you need to turn left down a small alley , entrance door is just on the right . The food was stunning ( in particular the tagine ) and the family were so warm & inviting it was more like eating at a friend's house . Considering they have only been in business such a short time they have got everything right. Highly recommended .
