Dar Chadia Fes

I had one of the best dining experiences I've ever had here. The food was exceptional and different to most of the very similar dishes I'd had at other restaurants in Morocco. I was served six different salads and sides alongside a main and each was delicately spiced, simple and delicious. Despite eating alone I was given enough food to feed multiple people and it was very reasonably priced. It wasn't just the food that made for an amazing meal, the space was absolutely beautiful, the business is family run and their service was attentive and kind despite me not speaking any language but English. There is no sign at the door but Google Maps takes you to exactly the correct location and you just need to ring the doorbell. If you are looking for a memorable and unique experience I could not recommend Dar Chadia Fes more highly.

We went here because it was only a couple minutes by foot from our hotel and of previous reviews. I'm glad we went. Very friendly older woman, who I assumed was owner and cook. We didn't have a common language so I just gave a thumbs up after she enumerated what she was serving. The chicken tagine was AMAzing! And she gave us a little box to take home our left over cookies and she told us to take some fruits from the fruit platter too! Ate so well! And of course, it's beautiful inside too!!

Very kind owners, great hospitality and most importantly amazing traditional Moroccan cuisine. A friend and I came here with barely enough money for one meal menu but they still fed us each a full course menu and treated us with so much hospitality. Not to mention how beautiful the riad is!

The best food experience in whole Morocco. It starts with 6 salads, main course, dessert with fruits, and then cookies and tea. Must have place to visit - top of the top.

Stopped off for dinner, the service was excellent and the welcoming was exceptional.

We had an amazing dinner with very friendly host. Very beautiful riad creates an fabilous atmosphere. Lots of space for larger occasions.

Super great place and nice surprise ! Apparently it s a private kitchen run by two generations. The hosts r kind and the food r all great. Not easy to find the entrance as the door was closed ( at least at noon for lunch). But with patience and waiting , after knock the doorbell, you will enter to a wonderland.

1人では食べきれないほどの量の、たくさんの種類のお皿が提供され、そしてそのすべてが本当においしかったです。
さらに食べれなかったモロッコクッキーは明日の朝食に、と箱に詰めてくれる優しさ。客が自分だけで美しく贅沢な空間を独占する状況だったこともあり、間違いなくモロッコに来てから最高の食事になりました。
値段もすべて込みで150dと、中心にある観光客用のレストランと比べても安価で価値は十分です。
外に一切看板はなく、そこがレストランとは認識できません。ここであっているのかとドキドキしながらチャイムを鳴らして、中に入れてもらうというスタイル。

Ristorante di ottima qualità, conduzione famigliare, servizio e cibo molto buoni. Accoglienza meravigliosa in una struttura tipica ed elegante. Dall'ingresso mai si direbbe, un'umile porticina nascosta tra gli strettissimi vicoli della medina di Fès.
Molto consigliato.
