Fondouk Bazaar

The layout and atmosphere in here is lovely, very relaxed feel and great staff. I had some of the Tapas and it was incredible, if I have time I will come back to try other items. Chocolate Fondant for dessert, outstanding. Highly recommend this place for a bite to eat.

Lamb pastilla was so flavorful with crispy phyllo dough crust, lived up to others high praise. I like exposed kitchen and fine terrace. Interior patio would be nice on cool or rainy day.

Lovely busy restaurant in the Medina. We hadn’t booked and the rooftop was full but the staff managed to fit us in.
We shared some babaganoush (a little bland), the baby courgette salad (very good), Tunisian bricks (good), and the roasted cauliflower salad (delicious!)+ coffee and banana lassi.
No locals there for sure but would happily come again in between more traditional meals elsewhere.
Card payments accepted from 300 dirham (we paid less so had to pay in cash).

Very nice atmosphere at the roof top. Food was very good, though nothing really superb, quite a lot of fried dishes. The cat was lovely.

By pure accident we stumbled at the entrance of this rooftop restaurant. We enjoyed the ambience of the interior and the food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended! You have dishes which are really different from the standard Moroccan food. Very affordable and super tasty!! Light breeze on the roof, good service!

Fantastic! The food is great, music is also nice. We ate at the terrace but there are more tables inside.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and such kind service by Arab!
I highly recommend it, it was much better than I expected!

Me and my sister had our two last meals in Fez here and couldn’t have been happier. Besides the gorgeous ambience, the waiters and staff general was incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. We won’t forget Arab and his kindness! <3
Also, the menu has a great selection and the food is delicious.
I absolutely recommend it and hope to come back again.

If you are in Fez you should definitely eat here. After walking in the intense and overwhelming streets of Fez, having dinner in this terrace felt like paradise. The service is super friendly and efficient, the food was delicious ( especially the meat balls with tomato, omg, you should try them), and the atmosphere is great and calm.

The food was absolutely delicious and a perfect mix of modern and traditional Moroccan cuisine. The roof terrace was uniquely beautiful and beautifully decorated. The service is highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

Really nice rooftop terrace away from the hustle on the streets. Extraordinary menu + tapas, felt like fine dining experience after eating mostly tajines and couscous during the past weeks! Excellent and clever plates. Tapas are big! We shared 3 tapas (95MAD) and felt happy and fully satisfied for overall experience.

Highly highly recommend. Not only is the food phenomenal but the staff was excellent. I was given a great lesson on spices, where to get them and how they were used in the food that I ordered. They also have some very unique teas available to try here.

Nice place with amazing rooftop. All the food was delicious. We tried several tapas and everything was so good.
Also the deserts, specially the fondant of chocolate.

We ate at Fondouk Bazaar for dinner. We were a group of 8. I have to say, we enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Everything from the appetizers to the desert was flawless! Spices and execution on point. Nothing to say. It was truly a nice surprise, after having had so many bad meals during my stay. The manager, Hamza, was great! The service was excellent.

What a gem! Delicious and inventive Lebanese food in a beautiful setting, in the heart of the medina but feels secluded. Prices were excellent for a great variety (and loads of veggie/ vegan options too). The fresh homemade lemonades are super unique and refreshing.

We’ve been in Morocco for 4 days and this is definitely the best food I’ve had. The variety and quality of food available is substantially higher than other places. It’s priced above average but not unreasonably high - you definitely get what you pay for. Inside it feels like an oasis of tranquility relative to the chaos outside!

We found this place through Google and gave it a try. So glad we did, The food is delicious. I would call it fusion Moroccan. the service is great and the ambiance is really nice. A little escape from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. We wanted a little change from the usual Moroccan food and this place was perfect. You have to try the different lemonades. They were delicious and so refreshing.

My partner and I had a lovely dinner on the roof at dusk with great views and service. The food is Moroccan and Mediterranean fusion. The sardine tagine was my favorite! Very generous servings of delicious food. I think this was one of the restaurants in Morocco that exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and price. Perfect for a quiet dinner.

A very nice, clean place that is great for lunch and dinner with a nice rooftop. The menu offers great Starters, some main courses and tasty desserts. In the centre of the Medina and worth a food stop when strolling around.
