The staff was really nice. He even warned us about the portion so we would not end up wasting food. Thank you very much for that. The price really reasonable and acceptable (to me it was fairly cheap). The food was very good. If you want something else apart from local food, this place is really worth a try.

Very friendly service from all in the restaurant! And the food was amazing! We tried camel for the first time and it was actually good!

Just outside the Medina’s wall. Recommended by our guide as a good, local restaurant and also by the Riad we stayed at. Friendly & helpful staff, saved us from ordering too much food. A simple, well prepared menu of traditional dishes to include a delicious looking camel burger with tasty looking fries. Regrets we didn’t have time to return for that order… The moroccan salad trio was fresh and flavorful. Lamb tagine was tasty as well as the camel meat kefta/ meatballs. Perfect meal portions. Fresh brewed mint tea to finish the meal. We had a really well prepared meal at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Very delicious, prices are very good with a taco cordon bleu for 5 euro! Fries were super yummy and also the cheesecake. Loved the hummus and garlic bread sides.

After a full day, sightseeing in Fès, we wanted to have dinner not too far away. Cinema café was very close to our Risd. We stopped in to ask if we needed reservations and the smiling young man said “oh no”, but then he said “but would you like one? So we made a reservation for three people at 7 o’clock.
Then, other friends decided to join and we ended up first with a party of 9. The staff moved four tables so we could sit together. tables together. Then, two more friends showed up, and the staff moved all four tables to the other side of the dining room where another table was located so that we could be 11 people together at five tables in a row. I say this to give one example of how accommodating the staff at cinema café are.

Beyond the nice wait staff, you should know about the food:

Our group ordered many dishes, including tagines, couscous, both vegetarian and meat, fish, tacos, chicken sandwich, almond-fruit milkshakes, and everyone said their meal was delicious.

Lastly, after the meal, part of the group left, and the staff realize that some of us were still talking. They encouraged us to stay and talk as long as we’d like to, even though we weren’t ordering anything more. We did and that was very nice.

The restaurant only takes cash, and there is a tip container at the front desk as tips are not added automatically to the bill

First ever camel meat.
The first time i heard about Camel Burger. If you are brave enough to try something new, go for their Camel Burger. It tastes great, has no weird taste, and has no weird smell, and it actually tastes better than beef.

It's a small cafe restaurant. The staff is friendly. Their menu has choices to choose. It's a Western + Moroccan food.

The restaurant is bright and clean. The price is inexpensive. They have a lot of food i would like to try again.

I loved the staff members they were so polite and nice to their customers. Knew how to entertain them. I was having a great time interacting with the host. We have the same taste in music. I would highly recommend this place. 👍🏼👍🏼😀

The restaurant and staff is great. They have a nice terrace on top, but it's about a 4 stairs walk. The food tastes really good and is a nice mix up from all the tajines and couscous. They also serve really nice drinks such as fresh ginger lemonade, and an amazing oreo milkshake. 10/10 would recommend.

The food was amazing! The service was excellent, the waiters were very friendly. It’s perfect for everything: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The atmosphere was modern and calming. Overall, it was a lovely experience. I suggest going.

Amazing cafe and definitely one of my favourites in all of Morocco. The food was great quality and at a great price. We had the beef tagine and falafels for dinner and they were both super tasty. Cannot recommend the Berber eggs for breakfast enough! The service was amazing and the kitchen was super hygienic. We’ve been here twice already!

We only had one day in Fes and wanted to stay close to our Riad. Cinema Cafe was a short walk away and our experience was beyond excellent! So good, that we not only had lunch there, but dinner and dessert as well 😄 They have a great variety of food, both traditional Morrocan dishes along with their own delicious spin on tacos, Italian dishes, burgers, and sandwiches. The service was wonderfully welcoming and the space has great cafe vibes of music, books, and chess. There prices are very reasonable (cash only). Our only regret was not being able to eat breakfast here 😊

Lovely cafe just outside the medina. The name cafe doesn’t really match because for me it is a restaurant and it was great.

After getting lost in the Souk in Fez, a nice young man suggested we have a lunch at the Cinema Café. One of us is vegan, 2 are vegetarians and the other eats pretty much anything. This restaurant did not disappoint. The ambiance is fun, there was a good choice of veg options. The local specialty, called pastilla, is usually made with chicken and almonds, but they had a vegan offering that was scrumptious and amazing, with a flaky crust and a savory seasoned veggie filling. The crispy falafels were the best we've tasted and the hummus was a creamy delicacy. The price was very reasonable. Absolutely recommend this fun restaurant, right at the entrance to the Souk. We were there on Feb 21, 2023.

I came there because of the review about falafel. And all that was thrue! Best falafel, best hummus, best baba ganush! Very friendly staff. Cozy place. I hope to visit them again and again! Thank you! Merci!

We told our guide that we wanted an early dinner and he recommended cinema cafe. We were really pleased with the extensive spread which had starters, mains and desserts plus fresh juice and coffee/tea! The staff was genuinely friendly, warm and helpful. The place had a cosy ambience. Very convenient location from my Riad.

Great food, great service, clean bathroom and good wifi. The Gazpacho was delicious and perfectly cold on a hot Moroccan summer day. Enjoyed the beef couscous with cooked raisins as well - simply delicious! Plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options.
