Patisserie Bab Al Madina

I was here today eating a very good couscous ( only on Friday) and drinking self made fresh caipirinha with no alcohol. That and also service was very good.

Great place to eat in or take away. It's a bakery, patisserie and fast food cafe in one.
Fabulous cheesecake, so good I part ate it before I remembered to take a photo. Very attentive service, I didn't have to queue for my cake, it was brought to the table. We were very well looked after.
Highly recommended!

We found this little cafe in Tangier. Their breakfasts are absolutely wonderful! When looking for breakfast in Tangier, do not miss this location. And the bonus is that they open very early...

We went here for breakfast twice during our stay in Tangier. We had the Moroccan breakfast that came with a few different types of bread, butter, cheese, almond butter, honey, a boiled egg, orange juice and choice of hot drink. Very filling, delicious and affordable breakfast. Good service. We also tried the creme croissants from the bakery which were so delicious!

This was such a pleasant surprise. It's been a while since I've tasted such a nicely made pastry, it was worth every calorie. The petit four were amazing, fresh and made with real produce. The pastries were out of this world not to mention the croissant 🥐 something I haven't seen or tasted in a long time. The prices are also very affordable for the amazing quality you get. If you find yourself in Tangier and don't mind a little cheat day I highly recommend you visit.

Food is very good for the price you pay and you see locals and tourists dining in here. Service is excellent and the staff are really pleasant, highly recommended!

Super staff. Great choice. Bought bread, donuts and cheesecakes. Super price. Also had a coffee.. nos-nos. Staff spoke English..👍🙏❤

As I live in Mershan up at the top of the hill, I often find myself coming here and I am never disappointed. While there are cheaper places to go (only by a few dirhams) the quality of the products more than makes it worthwhile. Be it bread, biscuits or pastrys - its all good. I also had a Shawarma from the restaurant side here and was shocked to find that its as good (or because of the significant size increase maybe even better) than Abu taysir down the road. Always a pleasure!

I wasn't able to take great pictures here so I just uploaded what I have on my phone. Seriously, Bab al Madina is so far my most favorite cafe/restaurant in the area near the medina especially when I need a comfort food. Great fairly priced food (love all the freshly baked bread, the cakes, gelato, panini) and good service. Note that this place is usually full.

Well just made myself sick eating a ton of their cookies. I couldn't stop. I pointed out several in the case, wanting to try a variety. 8 for 22dh. They were all so good, idk which ones to recommend. All of them. Go for it.

Nice pastry and tasty cappuccino (with whipped cream). Calm atmosphere with quiet music. Friendly waiters.

A good place to buy bread and other delicacies, and also to buy Moroccan sweets. There is also a place to have a drink and eat some saltines. It is a recommended place.

Excellent petit de jeuner @ Bab al Medina .. by far the best breakfast in the area near Rif Cinema. Friendly helpful service too.

Beautiful shop with pastries, bread, sweets/cakes, and ice cream. The staff are extremely friendly and patient while you order. They spoke Arabic and French. We went multiple times and they even exchanged some of our larger bills for smaller ones so that we could continue shopping in the Medina. We tried moroccan bread, croissants, some sort of danish, and 3 different cakes.

Always cosy, means food its good. Fast service kind people. Paying only with local money allowed. Cleaning need more attention.
