Everything about was sketchy and it our mistake for trusting them. At first they tried to keep our passports for insurance but once they were talked out of that they demanded a minimum “deposit” of 5000 MAD, unfortunately we took it as we needed a car. The car was mostly good for the days we had it although the tires were bald and the alignment was off. Upon trying to return the vehicle we had extreme difficulty getting our deposit back. They kept saying they were going to give us less of our deposit back due to the “bank dues.” Until we ended up demanding the money back. They gave it back in cash after a lot of arguing. They promised us a ride to our train station in Casablanca but then rescinded the offer as soon as we had finished getting our money back. My recommendation to any new travellers to Morocco DO NOT RENT HERE. You will get scammed.
