A beautiful oasis of tranquility & serenity. The meat was slow cooked for 8 hours and the couscous hand rolled. The safran pear was perfect with the traditional mint tea. The owner is charming and as calm and welcoming as the place. 🙏🏻

Best Riad in town - and one of the best even in whole Morocco 🤩👍🏻
This is the fourth time we've been here. Our son's Swiss wedding guests in 2019 were all thrilled about this pleasant oasis atmosphere 🥰
(but it was too small for the party with over 200 guests...)
During the day it's like walking in a botanical garden. In the evening everything is discreetly lit, like in 1001 Nights ✨
In particular, the pool surrounded by palm trees is a highlight 🌴
The food was always very tasty, whether breakfast buffet, lunch, dinner, whether it was cheese-baked lasagna or eggplant, or a well-seasoned Harira soup 😋
If you wish, you can also get wine and beer at moderate prices 😜
The rooms are beautifully and individually furnished, comfortable beds. Only the taps, which partially open in the opposite direction, take some getting used to 🥴🤣
Massage, hammam or pedicure are perfect and should be reserved when booking, if possible 🤟🏻
Here you can always find a quiet corner (with WiFi🤙🏻), whether by the pool, on the large roof terrace, or in the garden on comfortable loungers and beds 😎
Thank you very much 😘
We will be back 👍🏻

Beautiful place. Nice rooms. The location has parking but some roads are one way or closed so can be hard to get to.

One the best hidden jewels of Morocco.
Amazing stuff and hospitality. Additionally i recommend going to the roof in the golden hour.

It is a wonderful hotel with:
— an excellent breakfast arrangement (buffet breakfast) in a lovely room;
— swimming pool, roof terraces, well-kept garden;
— spacious bedroom;
— staff members who can speak English fluently;
— good value for money and easy booking process.
This hotel is well-managed and leaves a firmly positive impression. One would struggle to find any negative aspects.

The only negative point is that the bathroom does not have a window and can only be ventilated by opening the bathroom door into a bedroom, which is not ideal because all steam then goes into the bedroom. The bathroom should have its own window.

These are beautiful, clean, and traditional buildings. The pool is empty and clean. There was a nice man serving us drinks.

This is an oasis in the middle of town. Easy walking distance to both the Berber market and Arab souk. Beautiful pool & surrounding grounds. Quiet & peaceful. You can get a beer here too :)

Dar Tourkia was the highlight of our stay in Morocco, it’s such an amazing and peaceful place. We felt at home and didn’t want to leave (we had already extended our stay there but eventually had to leave). The swimming pool is amazing and the gardens around it are perfect for the delicious breakfast and dinner. The rooftop is also perfect at sunset.
What we loved the most at Dar Tourkia was the service and the staff, especially Fatim and Wissal, who were extremely attentive, friendly and helpful and ensured we had a great stay. Thank you for everything and see you soon again.

This place is a gem. Safe & Relaxing, well kept with nice garden and pool in lovely setting. Tagine was excellent and breakfast was plenty. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can’t fault this place and I doubt there is a better one in the city.

Dar Tourkia was our first stop (two nights) for a short trip to Morocco from Germany in the end of January 2018. We were travelling with our two little ones (2.5 and 5 years old). The hotel can be reached from Agadir airport by car in less than an hour. Of note, two different GPS maps sent us to the backside of the hotel on the wrong side of the city wall, so if you end up in an empty street, take a look on the map for the right gate to enter the city. The hotel (more a lodge) offers rooms in many different sizes spread across multiple buildings, all with direct access to the calm and beautiful garden and large swimming pool (not heated during winter!). All rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, with beautiful wooden furniture and complementary water. Our room was upstairs and had a small balcony with a beautiful view over the whole compound. The whole compound is well secured and our kids could roam freely in the garden and around the pool without the parents worrying too much. All staff was kind, polite and helpful at all times and made us and the kids feel welcome and at home. Everyone was very cheerful with the kids at all times (although they can be real brats sometimes). A large playground and a public plaza with electrical toy cars are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The food was among the best we had during our whole trip. Dinner is highly recommended, but whenever you feel hungry, just ask and they will be happy to do some magic for you. The hotel organized a nice and interesting tour around town for no extra charge but the guides loan. Altogether, an absolutely perfect start for our holiday, we would have loved to stay longer.

This is a delightful, luxurious but surprisingly affordable hotel. The food is very good, if a tiny bit repetitive (as is common in Morocco), but the rooms are very comfortable and elegantly decorated. Perhaps the best thing about the hotel is the owner herself, Tourkia, a force of nature and fund of local knowledge and excellent advice.

Beautifully decorated place with a special location directly at the ancient city walls. Nice reception. The dinner / breakfast garden is gorgeous.
Great breakfast buffet.

Beauty with a warm heart! The hotel grounds are simply beautiful and the room we had was clean, spacious and all the details needed for comfort.

The service was even better. My wife was ill with the flu during our stay and they were super caring and nice all through out.

Whole heartedly recommend staying here - location wise it is actually closer to the Médina than google maps thinks as there is pedestrian access through the Kasbah walls at the end of the hotel’s lane.

An island of beauty and tranquility nestled along the walls of the old Medina of Taroudant. Clean, very comfortable, quiet, artistically adorned, excellent staff, fine breakfasts, a lovely tiled pool for relief from hot days, and easy access to many of the best sights in Taroudant.

We stayed here for couple of days during our trip. This oasis is located in Kasbah. Staff is kind and helpful and owners are nice. There is parking space up front what’s very helpful when you are driving around. They have big swimming pool and lounge area around it. In the center of Riad there is dining area and you can choose to sit inside or outside. Rooftop has plenty of room combined with pool beds and tables. Our room was big enough and it was cleaned daily. They don’t have “normal” restaurant but instead owner tells what’s on menue so you can decide to eat there or go on evening walk and catch a bite down the street. They do offer snacks (panini and fries or similar) any time you feel hungry). Breakfasts were rich with variety of food and beverages. Main Street is located 5 min walk away and both markets (souk) 15 min walk. I would suggest this place to anyone no matter if you are alone or family with small child. As for children they have few turtles there :-).

Dreamy riad in Toradaunt. Staff was super friendly and provided us wine and beer on request. Great views of the Atlas. Meals available on site and a central pool. Hammam services available. Truly a luxury riad but it was nice after spending a few days in the mountains with no showers.
