Kasbah Restaurant Amazir

As a Moroccan, this is the best restaurant in south Morocco in my experience and my husband. Is literally the first time that we had good food in 10 days! You can see in the photos that the chef cooked with all his love.

Hakim, who attended us was also a bliss.

Thank you for giving us hope for south Moroccan restaurants because we really had any at this point haha.

We had 2 very good nights in Kasbah Amazir. Everything was perfect. The backyard with the pool an the loungers, as well as the terasse right next to it for breakfast an dinner with the cozy green roof.
The staff is more than friendly. Always with a smile on the face ready to give you tips or to bring whatever you wish for.
The breakfast and dinner, both were really good.
It's a good place to rest your feet, when you walked the whole day or went climbing or just want to enjoy the mountains with a beautiful view, the palms and the river, that flows past right behind the Kasbah.
Strong recommendation to stay here.
PS: 1 room has its own terrace, ask about it 😉

Try the Lemon with Chicken Tagine, it was absolutely the best in Morocco, Chef Muhammad does not skimp on the lemons and makes this the tastiest lemon and chicken tagine🙌🙌🙌

We needed a place to rest and recharge during our road trip through Morocco and this was the perfect spot! Spacious and clean rooms, great pool and lovely staff! We also had a delicious dinner and fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place near the gorge! Thanks again!

Best place to stay and enjoy especially in summertime. It's ideally situated near the river and in a part where fresh air circulates. The staff is great , they explain you how to get arround for beautiful hikes. The pools are both excellent. The service and food are 5*. We will surely come again and stay here.

I was only here 1 night and wanted to stay longer. The property is nice and very relaxing.
Nice pool and arbor garden area.
The big room downstairs is bright and cozy if it's not a good pool day.
Rose's were blooming everywhere here in May.

Friendly staffs. Clean hotel. The bedsheet is white and smells good. It’s better than most of the hotel with same stars. Had lunch, and it’s good. A nice stopover for the night

Quite the surprise really. Nice clean well appointed rooms, excellent water pressure and temperature for the showers, cute location, excellent service and good food. Would definitely recommend spending a couple of nights here if you're looking for a place to stay.

We had a wonderful night and morning at Amazir. After checking into our room the owner, Mohammed, gave us a map for a walk through the palm grove, to the abandoned kashahs and the spring to the river. Dinner (tajine with almonds and prunes, and herb omelette) on the terrace were was wonderful, as was breakfast. The manager, Ahkim, was kind and funny and spoke excellent French. The room was large and comfortable with great AC. No complaints and we hope to stay there again.

Excellent hostel used by group tours. The food was quite decent. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Was a nice meal after a long day of driving and walking around in the hot sun. We ordered the vegetable tagine and beef kebob. Both were good. I usually get a little nervous eating at places like this but it was actually really nice. My only complaint is there are a few ferrel cats that tried to get at our food while we were eating and that was a little off putting

This was my favourite accommodation while visiting Morocco. What stood out with this accommodation above the others is the service and warm of the staff. They welcomed us as guests instead of clients.

It is a great place - both the hotel as well as the restaurant. The rooms are simple but spacious and very clean. Good hot shower, comfortable bed and clean sheets. The food is awesome and the servings are large. Breakfast is very good and wholesome. The owner is a very kind person with great sense of humour. They will recommend a short walking trip along the river next to the hotel within the palmary which you should do. Price is very reasonable and we were very pleased with our stay.

Beautiful scenary. Great service. Highly recommended.
One point for improvement- one of our rooms smelled of cigarettes, though we dont smoke.

Great location in the valley by the river. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent interesting food. Lovely rooms and poolside terrace.

I stayed at this hotel whilst on a tour. It was very quiet and the food, some sort of a beef tagine dish with sweet prunes, was excellent.
