The Royal Palace in Casablanca is the main royal residence of the King of Morocco, which is located in the city of Casablanca, the economic capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Located in the Habous district, this royal palace was built in the 1920s to a design by the brothers Louis Paul and Felix Joseph Bertosio, with garden landscapes designed by Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier. This royal palace was renovated during the reign of King Hassan II by French designer Andre Packard.
The Royal Palace in Casablanca is considered the second most prominent royal site in Morocco after the Royal Palace in Rabat. It has been the site of many important events, as it hosted, for example but not limited to, the Fourth Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in 1984. It was also the site of Hassan II’s meeting with Pope John Paul II. In 1985, it was the first time that a Pope visited a Muslim country at the invitation of an Islamic leader. It is worth noting here that this royal palace is not open to the public

To be able to visit, you need to hire a tourguide, so that you can visit the inside

On a tour, so might need guard approval to enter if you are just walking on your own. No pics allowed of guards.

It is one of the many palaces in Morocco. It is beautiful to look at from the outside but the palace is not open to the public or at least was not when we visited.

Cool place to go with your family and see other cultures

If you tell the guards that you would like to take a picture, they will walk out of sight and they allow you to photograph!

Nice to see but no sign of the king

It was exciting to see where the Royal King lives when in Casablanca.

The king has got a palace in each important city in case of a visit. I wonder when would it be accessible for tourists? It will definitely boost the tourism industry and enrich the visitors experience.

Beautiful photo opportunities. The guards were really friendly and allowed us to take as many pictures as we wanted. (outside only)

Amazing, you can obly see the gate because the Royal palace is still in use by the king

Royal Palace of Casablanca also known as Habbous. Packed with Bazars and shops of traditionnal Morocan culture like clothes and fabrics.
