Ifrane National Park

The Ifrane National Park is the largest cedar forrest in Africa. There is no entrance fee and it is super cool. It is great for hiking and enjoying nature but the real highlight is the Barbary Macaques (or monkeys). These endangered primates roam freely in their natural habitat and interact openly with humans.i also recommended exploring the park on horseback.

Ifrane is a town in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. It’s known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests. A stone statue of a lion near leafy Parc la Prairie is a well-known landmark. Just outside town, Ain Vittel is a spring with several waterfalls. To the west, Ifrane National Park, with its Atlas cedar forests, is home to rare Barbary macaques.

This is an amazing place with a biodiversity of 20,625 it is home to rare and endangered animals such as barbary macaque, cuvier gazelle and the endemic barbary sheep.
