Riad Kalaa

We flew into Casablanca and initially planned to stay the night there but, fortunately, Morocco Fabulous Travel who helped plan our week stay in Morocco recommended that we stay in Rabat instead. Riad Kalaa had a very "humble" door at the entrance (for lack of a better word) which made us a little hesitant at first, but it opened up into a courtyard with stunning architecture and mosaics like we had never seen before. We were greeted by Morocco's "welcome" mint tea and various cookies and biscuits. The rooms were top notch and the quality of the finishes far exceeded the price per night. Furthermore, the staff were extremely accommodating with an offering of alcoholic beverages which are a rare commodity in Morocco. We were blown away by Riad Kalaa as well as the dinner that we had during our stay and would, without a doubt, highly recommend this place. The pictures don't do it justice but I assure you that you would not be disappointed.

We had a nice one night stay at Riad Kalaa. Room wasn’t as large as some of the other Riads we had stayed in throughout Morocco, but it was comfortable. Some rooms are right on the main courtyard, which other reviewers have mentioned, but they also have rooms that are in an attached building that are quieter. The rooftop patio is quite nice to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. The staff is very friendly and the food is good and plentiful.

Cant complain. This place is like a oasis after a Hard days work. Lots of attention from the staff. Everything clean. Fantastic terrace with pool. I hope i Will come again.

While travelling in Morocco w had the pleasure of staying in this Riad. Charming, well appointed and they also serve a great breakfast. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooftop terrace was delightful. The location was great as it was easy to find in the Medina --- an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful Riad. Friendly staff and delicious food in the restaurant. Beer, Wine and liquor available. Bottled water in rooms. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Great place to start our journey

Enjoy both convenience and comfort with a stay at Riad Kalaa, an idyllic accommodation combining modern-day luxury with traditional Moroccan culture. The location is great, right near Consuls street and the Kasbah of the Oudayas in Rabat, making it easy to access everything the city has to offer.

Upon arrival, I was immediately taken by the majestic Moroccan charm of the riad. It has absolutely beautiful interiors, with clean, natural colors and plenty of foliage and greenery to brighten the place and make it feel alive. I was greeted as soon as I entered, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming form the moment I arrived.

I checked into one of the 1000 perfume rooms, each aptly named after a fragrance of Jasmine, Amber, Musk, or Sandalwood. The rooms are located on the terrace, near the pool, which offers a stunning view of Rabat. The panorama of the old city delights, as the terrace pool shimmers with emerald reflections. It’s beauty and contemporary elegance at its finest, in an area ripe with history and culture.

Back in the room, I relaxed in the comfortable bed, dressed with soft, pristine white linens. The natural colors of the décor worked in harmony with the cedar wood furniture, giving off a scent that truly made the whole experience a sensory escape. From embossed metal lampshades to high-quality linen curtains, the refinement in the room truly makes the room luxurious. The room had every amenity I could want, from a working fireplace to relax beside, to a safe-deposit box and Wi-Fi internet access.

My time spent at the Riad Kalaa was short, as I only stayed a single night. However, I am already excited to return, as this was such an amazing stay. From service, to location, to accommodations, I highly recommend Riad Kalaa.

A very nice place, it has a pool, great service, very nice rooms. The street that leads you to the hotel it's a difficult road full of stones, you can pay a tip to someone for carry your baggage in the street

Really enjoyable riad in the centre of medinah. After exploring the town coming back to a lovely swim on the roof was great way too cool down. Good traditional breakfast in courtyard.

Fabulous riad in the heart of the old medina, with a lovely staff, delicious food, and spacious rooms. My new home in Rabat. <3

Great first stop on our trip. Nice rooms though admittedly my head may have come away with a new scar due to some of the low decor in the rooms.
