Lovely local place for dinner. No menu but very friendly waiter offered soup and Tagine and skewers. The price was fair with good portion size, and very tasty.

Great local spot with excellent value for money. I had the soup, salad and chicken kebab, was really delicious and filling with the large portions of bread. Very busy spot and had to get a table it seems but as a solo traveler I sat on a shared table. #BeatTheGrind

went to this resto a few times. The food is simple, but fresh and good! I took skewers of chicken and beef and kefta with fresh salad. Really enjoyed and the owner family is lovely. Strongly recommended!
I will definitely return next time when in Tangier.

Discovered this place accidently and loved it! Such a good local cheap food with amazing waiter! Paid 40 dh for tagine and tea! Recommended also for the best harira in morocco

Oh my goodness—the best food in town. Our waiter knew Arabic, French, Spanish, and English. He verbally told us the menu (as there is no written menu) but the pricing was shocking for how much food we got. We had complimentary bread, harira, and chicken kababs—the total cost was 50 dirham (about 5 USD) for both myself and my husband. We asked if that was correct and he nodded. Since it was our first night in Tangier, we asked about tipping and he waved his hand at us. Very good food and experience.(if you’re looking for a local place with traditional foods, they have Tajine, moroccan bread, Harira, Kabab, and couscous to name a few). Very friendly and not at all pressuring.

Pleasant atmosphere. The tajines vary in their vegetables, but are consistently good whatever they contain. One day a beef tajine will include chickpeas, carrots, potatoes and cauliflower - the next day green peas, tomatoes, olives, zucchini and cabbage. But always well done and served by a helpful and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

This is nice local restaurant with prices around 30dirhams. We had tajine and it was one of the best we had in morroco, and the waiter - who works there for already 45 years is really nice guy:) If you would like to have a local experience - this is the right place for you;)

Nuestro guía del freetour nos recomendó ir y es un sitio público, local, con comida de todo y económico. El camarero muy agradable y fueron rápidos. No tienen carta, nos decía en voz alta lo que había y nos costaba entender la mitad pero como nos gusta de todo le decíamos que sí. Nos trajo una ensalada, unas brochetas de pollo y ternera y un pescado con patatas fritas. Todo muy bueno. 126 dirhams por todo eso, muy bien de precio.

Nous y avons mangé aujourd’hui avec mon amie. Le cuisinier et son collègue en salle sont vraiment très sympathique.
Nous avons pris une salade, des brochettes (mixtes) et un tajine de kefta/oeuf… EXCELLENT! Le tout pour un prix plus que raisonnable.
Je recommande les yeux fermés 👌

Pour ceux qui cherchent les plats faits maison, voici un endroit à ne pas rater.

Le cadre est populaire et authentique, le serveur était bien serviable, la salade était très bien épicée (à 10dhs), et le poulet au frites était le star d'aujourd'hui (30dhs) super bon, bien cuit et le goût était super attirant.

À recommander et revisiter !

À noter : le restau n'ouvre pas les vendredis

Des plats traditionnels très délicieux, une ambiance conviviale. Je recommande vivement !
