The best thing we did during our stay in Marrakech. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. We did the half day buggy and it was perfect. Lunch in the desert was perfect. The pictures they took of us (20 euros for all the pics sent to your email) were perfect. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Abdel was the most amazing group leader on our quad bike adventure!!!! He was super fun and allowed us to go quite fast, this was actually my favourite experience in Morocco yet!!!!!

I was on half day quad tour today. The experience was top notch. Everything well thought through, well planned and organized. From the pick up, through instructions, the ride itself, assisting with taking pictures, after ride care and even small snacks and drink. All done by friendly staff. Recommend 100%

Amazing experience! We were collected spot on time from our hotel and driven about 40 minutes to the base camp which was well laid out and looks great. We had booked a half day camel riding for 4 of us. It was a great experience and very enjoyable. On return to camp we were given bread and mint tea and also looked through photos. We are going back to do Dune buggies in a few days and very excited

Fantastic, funny experience with a buggy. Also kids had a lot of fun. A guide will ride you full speed (or the speed you prefer....) through the desert. Photo shooting is a must 👌

Memorable experience with the 1.5 day buggy trip, it felt like we saw the real unfiltered Moroccan countryside. The equipment was all of high quality (buggy, helmet, goggles). We spent the night in an amazing desert camp, bucket-list level. Rabii was a great guide and made sure we had plenty of pictures and videos to take back home! Food was good, we felt safe at all times and everyone was super kind.

Only “but” was on the way back — we didn’t get a private transfer as expected and had to wait for a while until the rest of the people got back to the base. Additional improvement could be to give guests a “dust mask” to avoid breathing in all the guide’s dust.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! We booked a combined excursion to do camel riding and quad biking. The reservation was straight-forward, no fuss. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, accommodating, fun-loving and kind. Everyone spoke a variety of languages. My boyfriend and i had an absolutely AMAZING time. He, had the time of his life! The camel ride was bumpy and fun! We received snacks and Moroccan mint tea at a peaceful stop off point in the desert. The guides took tons of pictures and made conversation in a multitude of languages. The quad bikes were glorious. The biking was a bit more than 2 hours and we got an eyeful of the beautiful landscape, riding through valleys, dry rivers and the like. I was a bit hesitant on my bike and the guide didnt hesiate to be supportive and helpful. All in all a more than worthwhile purchase. 10 stars!!!!!

The staff is very kind and professional. The trip was totally safe. At noon we had a lovely traditional lunch at a local family, in a three house village in the middle of the dessert.

I’d recommend Dunes & Desert to anyone looking for an Agafy Desert excursion. We went for the half-day quad bike excursion and the whole experience, from start to finish, was sleek and enjoyable. A professional photographer even joins for the first part, with photos available to purchase (for a reasonable amount) at the end. It was my first time on a quad bike and I’d 100% do it again, and with this company if I’m ever back In Marrakesh! Our guide Abdel was really patient but also didn’t make it a novice and slow experience - he was fantastic throughout.
(There’s not just quad biking - we had a couple join us in a dune buggy and there were also camel rides available).

For a totally one-of-a-kind experience in Marrakech, enjoy a full day of adventure with Dunes and Desert exploration. I highly recommend the tour company, as some friends and I opted for the Quad and Camel full day excursion, and it was a time we’ll never forget.

The day started with pick up directly at our hotel. We didn’t have to arrange a way to get to the hiking spot, as the company sent a shuttle to transport us to and from our hotel. That was so convenient, and really made it easy for us to attend the tour.

We each got our own camel to ride, which was something I had never done before. The guides were so welcoming, and ensured we each felt comfortable with the adventure before we embarked. We took a two-hour trek across the desert on camel-back, taking in the beauty of the natural landscape.

Mid-day we stopped at Hicham’s for lunch, which was a traditional chicken tagine. It was wonderfully delicious, and exactly what we needed to get fueled for our next adventure. We rested with a cup of tea, feeling refreshed while studying the countryside.

Next, we switched from camels to quads, as our guides led us on a scenic ride through the Northern region of Marrakech. We were provided with eye protection, helmets, gloves and waterproof jackets. The tour guides truly are professionals, and made us feel safe through every leg of the tour.

We got to see some beautiful mud houses that are customary to this area of Morocco, so it was as much educational as it was adventurous. We can’t recommend Dunes and Desert highly enough, as it really was an experience of a lifetime. From the delicious food, to the exemplary service of everyone involved, to the actual camel and quad riding, everything was perfect!

After embarrassing experiences from trips in other countries (for example in Egypt, Turkey or Tunisia), I was a little nervous. Everywhere they were expensive trips and very low quality... But now it was completely different... We paid 110 euros per person for a camel trip and a quad bike ride. It was a full-day program that lasted 8 hours even with the transfer. This company is based on the edge of the desert. They have several beautiful and clean shelters - in one they offer tea upon arrival, in the other lunch... There are clean toilets with toilet paper and sinks with soap. You don't need to wear anything. For the camel trip, you will receive a typical Berber scarf to avoid heatstroke. You get a helmet and goggles for quad bikes. The camel ride lasted over an hour and a half. Quad biking was also fair. Over an hour and a half across the desert. Do not worry. You get training, a short test drive, and then you're off into the desert. Slowly and carefully at first, then faster. The guide watches you all the time, goes first, checks you and adapts to your abilities. Tell him if you want to go slow or fast. He is very attentive. After the end, we were still cleaned of dust with air. The guides on both trips were absolutely amazing, helpful, attentive, kind, always checking to make sure everything was ok and asking how we were doing... The photographer (for a small extra charge - well worth it) took amazing photos for us to keep they didn't do it themselves on the mobile phone. The lunch they served us was the best we ate in Morocco. I'm not exaggerating. Big and tasty portions. Appetizer, main course and fruit. It was one of the most beautiful experiences in Morocco. I was very pleasantly surprised, positively surprised. Thanks to all the people at Duna and Desserts. I felt very good and safe. Well thank you.

Had a really fun camel trip. The guides were really friendlly and kept us entertained. We had a tea stop and the guides offered us some snacks as well. At the end we also bought a photo for about 5 euros.

We went on the 10th July for the full day camel and Quad. And it was amazing !! Everyone is so friendly and you feel well informed and taken care of. They can cater the lunch to Vegan/vegetarian too!

The service was so good with the people receiving us, first we were lost for joiginig the place, and after a call, one person of their staff was so fast to join us and lead us to their beautiful place,
We've choosed to get a tour in quad, and it was worthy, to visit the dunes, and get a upper view for the place.
The lauch was so delicious 😋, with the tagine and dessert.
I recommend you the place to visit it with your family or in couple, or with your friends, you'll get a memorable day in a peaceful place, so quieeeeeet ...

"THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE IN MARRAKECH"

We booked on the dune buggy morning experience, and it was easily the greatest day of our holiday in marrakech.

I whole heartily recommend this company to take care of every detail of your trip.

From the hotel pick up and transfers to and from the Sahara desert,
All of the safety equipment provided with professional instructions,
The adrenaline inducing speed machine of a buggy.

But for us, it was the absolutely amazing instructor who went above and beyond for us to make it a day that neither of us will ever forget.

A brilliantly, fun day out!
Included in the excursion is pick up and drop off from your accommodation. We received a very friendly welcome and the camel guides dress you up in a traditional shesh headwear, which makes for a great photo op!
The camel guides were very informative and entertaining, chatting away and joking as we were getting to know the camels and during the ride. The camels are all very well looked after and each has a personality of their own.
During the camel ride, we passed through some beautiful palm groves and a dried up river bed. Halfway through the excursion we stopped at a small village where we were greeted by locals, shown how the traditional mint tea is brewed and offered some yummy local crepes (I think called msmimen).
After a great little break, we headed back to the starting point on the camels. Our guide gave us a hand woven camel ring which is a great souvenir of our day out!
Highly recommend the camel excursion! It was such a fun day out, the staff is very professional and entertaining, and more importantly it was nice to be able to support a local village and see the camels are happy and well looked after.
