Café-restaurant Assanfou

We had an incredible dining experience at Cafe Restaurant Assanfou. The food was absolutely amazing and our waiter went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with everything.

Nice stop between our travel from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate. We chose spagetti and penne. We were pleasantly suprised how delicious can be italian food on morrocan style of cooking.

The food was legendary👌🏻 , it may be the most delicious and appropriate meal I have eaten since I came to Morocco , I leave my heart here 🩵 and definitely recommend 👍🏻

Very friendly, honest, everything was delicious and the bathrooms were very clean.

The first time you look you see a simple restaurant on the road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, but in reality it's a hidden gem. A kind and thoughtful host, clean and exceptional Tajines and the price-quality rating is through the roof! Arebyou looking for a place to rest on the road, look no further!

Great place for a pit stop on your journey! We had an omelette and orange juice! Super fresh and tasty! They have a good menu with lots of choice!

Tasty food and good place to have a break driving over the mountains. We had a slightly dirty table that was cleaned only after we took a place but the chocolate mousse pulled our rating to five stars.

Amazing place! We stopped here 2 times, on the way to the Sahara and comming back to Marrakesh. Definitelly worth it! Delicious food, more than reasonable prices, great owner and amazing view.

Great food, nice coffee and very friendly waiter! We were traveling from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddu and took a break from driving at this lovely place. Pretty view and sunny terrasse!

We stopped here along our way from the mountains to Marrakesh! Highly recommended as they have fantastic Lavazza espresso! Also, the views from the patio are amazing are you are surrounded by the High Atlas Mountains. The bathrooms are also immaculate ( which can be hard to find in some of these areas).

We never ended up trying the food, but it all looked delicious, and the waitstaff was very friendly!

Nice place with wide variety of foods, the kitchen is good, the service is nice and quick. Good idea for a quick bite, but also for a supper or dinner. You can go there with bigger companies as well, they are prepared. It is also a good idea to ask about their offers, the waitress are nice, helpful, and speak many languages, if not the one than the other.

Such an amazing stop on the way! Good food (great mixed skewers), magnificent views and lovely puppies around:) if you are taking this road and a bit hungry/up for coffee, don’t hesitate to make a stop.

Delicious food, perfect lunch stop from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. The Chicken lemon Tagine is highly recommended! Very fair prices and friendly service and even a small playground for the kids.

Very nice place, which is surrounded by mountains and garden. Service was great and food is unexpectedly amazing. The best stop on our way.

Best place for a pause on the Tiz n Tichka. Peaceful, high altitude so cool during the summer and the chance of snow in the winter!
