Café-restaurant Hmad

We arrived in the evening after a long journey from Merzouca without booking .
We were immediately greeted with a smile and asked if we would like dinner prepared which we graciously accepted . Then they showed us our room which was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated .
The shower was lovely and warm then on to the meal which was so tasty and inexpensive for what we had ….. starter , main( tagine chicken and lamb) .
After a lovely restful sleep we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and late checkout (12pm)
If you’re in the area try and stay here !
Only a short walk from the famous old town and we loved the place so much we came back for a second time !

Very nice restaurant. Food was very good. We loved the salads and minced meat. The is a small playground for children behind the restaurant. There is also a nice family area called the Jardin. When it is hot outside the are some areas in the garden where you can sit and eat your food. I am coming back to this restaurant for sure!!!!!

The best food I’ve had in Maroc. Extremely cheap and just amazingly tasty and good. The tomato salads refreshing and really good. The tajine was amazing, the potatoes and carrot perfectly cooked and with the some extra flavor from the olives and meat just astoundingly tasty. And all of that glory for just $20 with 4 people!
