Staying at Amlougi house was a truly authentic experience, where the warmth and care of the host's family added a special touch. It provided a genuine opportunity to immerse oneself in the local culture, Atlas village life, and the natural beauty of the valley. The guesthouse itself is beautifully simple yet comfortable, equipped with all amenities such as a toilet and shower.

The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the delicious local cuisine served with love by the host family. Each meal was a delightful exploration of flavors, showcasing the richness of the region's culinary traditions.

What truly set this experience apart was the genuine hospitality of the host family. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment, making us feel like part of their own family. Their passion for their village, culture, and the surrounding nature was evident in every excursion they organized, leaving a lasting impression on us.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and enriching cultural immersion.

We stayed for three days with Ibrahim and his family. The rooms are basic, but sufficient for our needs and very nicely decorated. Amlougui House is in a traditional Amazigh village, so you are immersed in the culture. We had some of the best Moroccan food during our stay. The area is nice for hiking. Ibrahim is a great guide. We loved our stay with him and would definitely recommend Amlougui House.

There's actually no way to describe how wonderful and amazing our stay at Amlougui has been. The village is located in a hidden valley off the road to Setti Fadma.
Ibrahim and his family are the kindest hosts and their lovely hospitality has made our stay one of a kind. This is the place if your are looking for a calm and quiet place to relax and enjoy the mountains around.
The house provides three rooms for guests a small terrace and basically two living rooms. Ibrahim and his family can provide breakfast and dinner for a great value. There are no restaurants around and the house does not provide a kitchen for guests. The food is prepared mostly from locally grown ingredients and is incredibly delicious.
Ibrahim is always up for great conversations for example about the villages initiatives in regard to products by the local women or sustainability and many other topics.

We spent 2 nights at Amlougui House and it was absolutely spectacular! It is perched on the side of a mountain in the charming village of Amlougui and has the most stunning view. Ibrahim is an amazing guide as well and took us on a wonderful hike to see the many waterfalls and sites nearby. He even went so far as to arrange for transportation to pick us up from our home in Marrakech to get there. The decor is lovely, the room was comfortable, the food was impeccable, and we will definitely be back. A true ethical tourism experience in so many ways. Do not pass up the opportunity to stay here!

I can’t begin to explain how truly amazing it was to stay at Brahim’s home in Amlougui. The home was clean and beautifully decorated, the bed was so comfortable, peaceful surroundings, strong wifi. But the real 5 stars was Brahim! He is such a wonderful host, an amazing cook, and the most knowledgeable mountain guide on long treks. I stayed for 2 nights and felt so welcome and comfortable. I will definitely be staying again and taking one of his multi-day hikes into the mountains. Thank you Brahim!!

My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay here longer! My friends and I spent a lovely weekend at Brahim’s Place, full of laughter and good conversation, delicious food, and peaceful sleep. Ibrahim and his coworker Hassan guided us in the Ourika Valley through hikes, meals, shopping, and more, everything done in the local way. We learned so much about the Amazigh culture, and will definitely stay in touch with our hosts. The most personal and valuable homestay experience I’ve ever had!

One of the most varied places I got to know. Its a place where you can explore the real and authentic life of the Berber/ Amazigh with Ibrahim and his family. Great clean house, incredible food unique host. And then there is the freshness of the rivers and springs, the beautiful view of the mountains around you, where you still finde the untouched nature. We explored the beautiful plateau of Yagour and stayed twice in tents and also by local families. If you a hiker ore intressted in authentic life then you should get to know Ibrahim, his family, Amlougui house and also go with him on one of thise unforgettable hikings. I’m sure you will be overwhelmed.

We absolutely loved our stay with Ibrahim, and are planning to come back. We'd highly recommend taking part in the experiences Ibrahim offers, and learning more from him about the culture and the village, which we'll definitely do when we come back!
The room and the facilities were great, including Wi-Fi (!). The food was amazing, homemade, fresh and local. We couldn't have asked for more.

Ibrahim was an amazing host and I enjoyed a week with him and his family! When we went hiking he took care of everything and always adapted to my speed and needs. The food was absolutely incredible! The views stunning and I really felt like I experienced the berber way of life.

Ein Ort fernab vom Massentourismus an welchem man einen sehr interessanten Einblick in das Leben der Amazigh im Ourika-Tal erhält.
Ibrahim ist ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber. Er ist sehr freundlich, unaufdringlich und stets hilfsbereit. Man kann von ihm viele interessante Dinge über die regionalen Gegebenheiten (Menschen, Kultur, Flora und Fauna, Landwirtschaft usw.) erfahren.
Das Amlougui-House ist sehr schön an einer Bergflanke gelegen, verfügt über schöne Zimmer und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht.
Das authentische Essen, welches wir bei Ibrahim geniessen durften, gehörte zum Besten, was wir in Marokko assen.

Im Angebot gibt es auch interessante mehrtägige Touren im Atlas Gebirge, welche wir aus Zeitgründen leider nicht unternehmen konnten. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall mehrere Tage Aufenthalt einzuplanen.

Eine klare Empfehlung an alle, welche ein authentisches Marokko in einer familiären Atmosphäre erleben wollen.

Magnifique petit gîte plein de charme tenu par Ibrahim un hôte et guide très sympathique, perdu dans un petit village berbère. La cuisine de sa maman était très bonne, aussi le petit-déjeuner. Les chambres sont impeccables et décorées avec goût, tout est très propre, y compris les sanitaires. Le gîte est très cosy. Ibrahim nous a emmené en balade découvrir des magnifiques paysages et villages isolés. Possibilité également de transport depuis Marrakech. A conseiller vivement.

Es war ein schöner und eindrücklicher Aufenthalt. Mit Ibrahim, dem Vermieter, haben wir ein Wanderung in die Berge gemacht. Es war wunderschön.

Herzlichen Dank für Euren spontanen Einsatz Amlougui-Team!
Dank Euch konnten wir unsere geplante Reise durch Marokko doch noch realisieren, trotz gebrochenem Schlüsselbein und geschwollenem Fuss. Bequem in Eurem Auto mit Chauffeur haben wir eine wunderbare Reise durch das schöne, abwechslungsreiche und auch etwas geheimnisvolle Land erlebt. Auch die Begleitung durch Cornelia Schiess war eine echte, grosse Bereicherung. Im Anschluss an die Reise verbrachten wir noch einige Tage im Amlougui-House.
Dort durften wir die liebe Gastfreundschaft spüren und in den geschmackvoll eingerichteten Räumen fühlten wir uns wohl. Wir wurden verwöhnt mit feinem Essen und natürlich mit «Thé Berbère». Ibrahim, Hassan und Connie zeigten uns die Umgebung vom Berberdorf und machten mit uns weitere sehr eindrückliche Ausflüge. Grosser Höhepunkt war auch das Abholen unseres bestellten Teppichs bei Fatima. Dann ging es wieder zurück nach Marrakesch im Begleitung des Amlougui-Teams. Vielen, vielen Dank für Alles.

He dormido aquí y solo puedo decir maravillas, la familia que regenta este negocio es encantadora, la hubicacion con la pequeña terraza es un lujo. La habitación es cómoda, y la cena fue excepcional !! Volvería a ir sin duda

De tous mes voyages, de toutes mes rencontres, Amlougui house est un vrai coup de cœur situé dans mon very best of.
Ibrahim fait vivre un tres beau projet, rester dans son village la haut dans la montagne, en faisant vivre sa famille en recevant en toute simplicité des touristes venus vivre une expérience vraie. Tout particulièrement les amateurs de randonnée de tous niveaux. Ibrahim est un VRAI guide qui saura organiser de très belles sorties dans cette magnifique région du haut atlas.
A propos du gîte,: cette année la terrasse a été fermée (les soirees peuvent être fraiches) où diner et petit-déjeuner sont pris en commun dans une super ambiance. Repas délicieux, couscous tajines maison fruits galettes ( un festin)
