Au Bord de l'Eau

What an absolute lovely hotel is 'au bord de l'eau' : the rooms are decorated very cosy& comfortable, and you can stand with your feet in the ourika river without hearing a single car. But the absolute highlight is the host Martine, who will spoil you as your mother: she will not only give you plenty of hiking and restaurant tips to discover in the neighbourhood, but also a tasty breakfast with your feet in the water. 5 star hotel feeling, whether as solo traveller or couple or little family!

Hotel amazingly located on the riverside , in the lovely garden. Very helpful and kind owner, good price for the value. There is even a heater in the room as in the mountains nights can get very cold.

We loved this place! River and mountain views directly from the porch, excellent breakfast, and the nicest owner Martine (with her lovely dog). Everything clean and modern, yet you felt fully embraced by the nature.

We didnt took the day tour to Ourike from Marrakesh, went on our own by public transport instead and stayed one night at this place - and we could not make a better choice than this. So far our best experience in Morocco.

Excellent place with river, mountain view and "jungle feeling". Owner Martine is also a very nice lady. Breakfast was delicious. Best place zo stay in the valley, 1km from cascades.

One of the best places I stayed during my holidays in Morocco!! Martine gave a lovely look to the rooms and the garden outside. The place is really quiet, all you can hear is the river nearby and the birds. Also great starting point for trekking in the Ourika Valley. Martine is a great host and she has a great knowledge about Morocco, so she gave us many helpful tips. Highly recommended!!

Au bord de l'eau: special quiet place to stay, next to the river. Lovely to settle down from
busy Marrakech. The owner was very helpful, despite us not speaking the same language. She arranged her guide to do a ful day hiking with us, showing us the non touristacal hidden places. Note: the closest ATM is in ourika ( 1 hour drive!) and everything is payed in cash.

Beautiful and charming eco-friendly b&b nestled right by the river. Martine is so welcoming and accommodating. Perfect for a summer escape from Marrakech.

What a gem!! We loved the place from the minute we arrived. The location, the cleanliness, the amazing owner, the decoration and the service. We were really sorry to leave. Do not go anywhere else.
