A little difficult to get to, best arrange access direct with the gite

Really brilliant staff, Rashid our guide speaks fantastic English and is really knowledgeable

Breakfast is tasty simplicity and the tajines are incredible home made quality, not the junk they serve in the hotels

It's quiet here, not many tourists, but is stunningly beautiful

Myself and my partner were on a guided walking tour and had an overnight stay.
This turnout to be here, a little gem in the middle of the mountains and a small traditional village.
Rashid (hopefully spelt right) and his team were amazing, so welcoming.
Food was excellent (such big portions, and Rashid joined us and another guest for dinner), bedrooms and rest of hostel very clean.
Thank you to the other guest (apologies cant remember your name, chap from tangier) for being the translator for the evening.
If you want a quiet and clean hostel and friendly people, then here is a place to stay.
If back in area, we will be back.

A hidden gem in the Atlas mountains, not far from Marrakech. We took a bus from Marrakech to Ourika and a taxi up the valley, you can walk from the bridge at Tazitount, or take a local 4x4. The walk is uphill and take about one and a half hours, but it's worth it if you dont have a lot of luggage. The scenery form the gite and the atmosphere was so amazing that we decided to stay two more days. I can not recommend this place enough for people finding the streets and city life of Marrakech too busy. The food is amazing. Don't think twice, just go, and you will be rewarded with memories for a lifetime.

Absolutely excellent, good hospitality and food, trully wholesome and authentic experience, well worth your money to help support their projects with local traditions, eduction and Berber people. Cheeky Abdul (you’ll see it in his face even if you can’t speak the same language). Inspirational and wonderful Khalid who took us on a walking tour and touched our hearts with his honesty, charisma, and passion for all of his help with local projects - spend time with him and you will see.

Friendly people, great place to get away from the noise and crazy city life, great choices, if love trekking and hiking, having great conversation with Rachid from the history of the place to agriculture, he's hungry for knowledge to receive and give, definitely doing it again in matter of fact, we're planning to visit again in spring
