This review is for the restaurant only. I sat on the rooftop terrace. The views were very nice. I ordered lamb couscous. It was very good although the lamb was rather fatty. Service was excellent. The restaurant is quite a ways up the passage from the square.

This must be the best restaurant in Tetouan?

We were in town for a week, with two other lots of friends, and they felt the same.

We tried three other highly reviewed Tetouan restaurants for breakfast and dinner, so I feel this is a fair comparison. The personable and professional service was impeccable. The food and wine excellent and the portions were large. (Note that wine can be purchased here). The free olives and bread etc with breakfast and dinner were generous.

I have been travelling and dining around the world for many years, including where I live in Melbourne, Australia (considered by many to be one of the restaurant capitals of the world), and this is one of the best I have been to. This is why we returned several times during the week.

One of the few places in the Medina serving food and drink (including alcohol) during the day during Ramadan. Great views, delicious reasonably priced menu, and friendly service. You can eat on various levels of the building for different views and atmospheres (and to avoid steps if you stay downstairs).

Great restaurant to eat at if you’re passing by Tétouan! 😍 the places that you need to walk by to reach it are also interesting 📸

Food tasted nice, staff were friendly, vibes were authentic with the addition of some Spanish music.

Lovely luxurious hotel. Rooms were quite small but really beautifully decorated and with all mod cons and very comfortable. Good value for money. Staff were very helpful. Restaurant was good, we had breakfast lunch and dinner here and it was all pretty good. Tetouan is not a massive hitter in terms of tourist attractions but it's an interesting city and I'd come back again just to stay at el reducto ❤

We had lunch in El Reducto, so I'm only reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel/riad. The restaurant prices are above average for Tetouan standards, however, in my opinion it makes u for it with the beautiful place, very well decorated, and the attentive service. The food was very well presented and tasty. Unlike most other restaurants, they serve alcoholic drinks. Be sure to visit the rooftop terrace as you will get spectacular views of Tetouan from there.

Have stayed at El Reducto four times with groups. Great staff and food. Close to everything. Everyone enjoyed their little home away from home.

We spent 1 night in this lovely Riad. We enjoyed nice dinner on roof top tarace. Our room was clean and nice.

The staff is very accommodating. The rooms are beautiful. The food is delicious. The prices are good. Amazing views from the rooftop terrace. What more could you ask for? The staff really made this place amazing, they went above and beyond.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. Only got falafel, soup, and salmon - but was very happy with all three.

Stunning interior with great unique food options from the traditional Moroccan meals. Well priced. Can be a bit trickier to find but well worth the extra effort to reach.

The restaurant in this beautiful Road has a wonderful Moroccon flare, and delicious tagine dishes. We had a fish and lamb tagine. The flavors and mixture of spices was wonderful. The service was kind and very accommodating

Realy nice Restaurante in Medina of Tetuan. Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food.
Ate dessert on the rooftop and had a beautiful view over the city and sunset.

Funfact: El reducto is also a secret dating area for young Tetuani.

Perfect place to sleep or just eat. Creative kitchen (european and marroquin), nice chillout or classic music, perfect service. Nevertheless relatively cheap. Beer and very good wine served.

I've visited this restaurant just for one dinner as i had 2 nights in the riad. Wasn't so hungry, so ordered only chicken pastilla and salad mediteranee with goat cheese and fresh vegetables. All was really tasty, and service was perfect. Prices are a bit higher then in the city, but this restaurant is very known for good food, and its made for tourists, and they can afford it. Its not expensive at all, and worth it. Beautiful atmosphere. You can also order wine, they serving alcohol.

Regarding the accommodation:
Very easy to find (relatively - but everyone can show you, as its very known place), beautiful Moroccan decor (amazing taste and design), fantastic Casablanca suite, amazing view from the rooftop, perfect food in the restaurant and also very good and rich breakfast. If you add very clean room and helpful staff, you do t need to look for something else. This is the perfect place to stay in Tetouan.

I booked room Marrakesh but got the suite Casablanca with bath tube in the room, on upper floor with 2 windows on the terrace, where is was invited for the tea and Moroccan cookies after the arrival to the riad.
Suite was very big, spacious, bed hard and comfortable, just slept with windows open...There are spiral stairs to higher terrace with breathtaking view of Tetouan Medina and new city, mountains, i had even a chance to see a rainbow, and that was really something special for me.
Staff was very helpful, very professional, English speaking, which is not must in this area, breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was very rich and always fresh and taste! Very good start of the day.
Absolutely recommend this place for 2-3 nights in Tetouan, you will not regret it, there is so much to see here!

very reasonable price, stunning clean, and close to everything i highly recommend it for solo travelers since it has a gorgeous Terras so you could get to know other people and have a quite late drink with some friendly strangers

ALSO HOTEL. Deserves 7 stars! Without El Reducto oasis and helpful beyond duty Jusef my visit to Tetouan would have been a disaster. Particularly during Ramadan! Excellent and beyond charming LICENCED restaurant and roof terrace serving a cold beer at sunset a life saver at a time when before 19:45 not even mint tea is served in town. Lavish traditional decor and spacious rooms. A must for solo female travellers.

They had plenty of vegan options! Price was reasonable and service friendly 🤗
