The moment we saw that square and view we fell in love with Tetouan. The architecture is breathtaking.

There is a wonderful restaurant with fresh juices and a playground next to it - perfect for families.

The medina of Tetouan is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Morocco. Easily accessible from the 'Al Boustane' campsite just outside the city. From the roundabout, take a taxi (an experience) to the city for little money! Even without a 'city guide' you can easily find your way around the old town. Polite and friendly people who don't bother you, quite the opposite! I had a great time in Tetouan.

I loved this place so much. I've been to Tetouan countless times but I never paid attention to this place. So picturesque and aesthetic. You can also find Restaurante Granada nearby. You can get into the medina and go up to the Kasbah which has a beautiful view of Tetouan.

Tetouan is one of my favourite cities, so being there is a treat, for travellers beware of the omni present wannabe tourist guides, some are friendly some are quite mean. The classic honeytraps are artisan products, rugs and women's clothing caftans and djellabas. Don't be fooled moreover watch where they take you so that you can find your way back.
