Cooperative D'Argan Marjana

We made a stop here quite late in the afternoon when they already closed but luckily our tour guide knows the operator/owner so she came back and entertained us. The place is clean and they help single mothers to earn a living. Buy pure argan from them!

If you want to buy some authentic Moroccan oil at a good price, I'd recommend making a stop here. They offer a variety of goods - from pure oil to soaps. Credit cards accepted. You can also take a quick tour of how Argan Oil is made. Appreciated the Moroccan tea offered by the host. Bathrooms on site. Expect tour buses to make a stop here.

Women crash the argan nuts in traditional way with hand rotating stones, this is how the argan oils are made according to the gaid lady telling us a story and the making proccess. The next is shop where you can buy a big selection of argan oil, try or taste it with bread. We were not shown the bottles filing line or cosmetic production line, so not sure where it is made indeed.
Anyway the argan oil which we bought look good quality and would recomend.
Also the toilets are very clean and good standard:)

Very interesting experience. We got to see all the stept argan seeds going through before the Argan oil is produced.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the famous gotes on trees 😕but at least we tasted the Argan oil, honey, butter, and also had a very nice tea.

Authentic Argan based products, no negotiation is allowed. Bought Argan oil cosmetics and edible. Staff are very friendly and has shown us the process of extracting oil from the Argan seeds.

We were shown how to make the oil. Before the stop, we also had the stop for the goats on the tree 🌳

Very interesting visit, everything is done by hand wich justifies the high price of the products. It is very valuable to have women's co-operatives everywhere, especially when they produce products of such high quality.

Friendly staff, clean toilets and a chance to refill your water bottles. Nice look round the argan stuff, and the important back story behind the cooperative. Of course they want to sell you their oil, but you can always just say no, like you do everywhere else.

While on holiday in Morocco last February, I visited this coop and was really impressed by the way the products are hand made and of such good quality. The women who worked there also posed for photos with the tour group I was with.
We were given a tour and a talk on about the coop which is a great cause. I purchased Argan oil and was given a free bar of Argan soap, both of which are excellent, nothing like what is sold on my local high street in the UK.
I placed an order to be delivered in the UK and was pleased with the efficiency and the order being processed and delivered. They also responded very quickly to my emails.
I would definitely order from the Coop again.

Lovely experience, even better products. Visiting this cooperative made me understand the value of pure, organic products than can have so many uses versus expensive and chemical-filled oils that are sold elsewhere.

A woman only Argon oil processing facility, a great place to see the methods and purchase different products containing the oils.

Very interesting place to visit. Demonstrated the making of Argan products with the oportunity to purchase male and female products as well as modest alimentary Argan oil, honey, amlou. Wr bought srveral products as gifts. Not too lengthy controlled visit, air conditioned room so comfy process. Small cafe on site reasonably priced and toilets/washroom was clean and equipped.

Really nice how they help poor women have jobs. Good quality products. Much better system than the welfare state we have

Wonderful cooperative making products from pure argan oil. Completely run by and for women while providing job opportunities for over 40 women.
We had the opportunity to see the manual process of expressing the argan from the seeds and processing it to create many wonderful products. Each person on staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the product, process, and people.
I cannot recommend them enough. Please stop buy and make sure you are getting pure argan oil from a reputable co operative like Marjana
