Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport

Overall We had very good experience at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, Morocco.
At first we were given run around when were trying to find Royal Moroccan Airline's Customer Service office which ended up with frustration. It was close midnight. Wherever we were pointed , had shut doors. Then we run to another person to ask, he made us go some other direction, and most of the airport workers at that late hours didn't speak English (I mean cleaning personnel, some of the security guards and whoever we saw).
Then we almost gave up, decided to sit, have some coffee, connect the free Wi-Fi and plan our next steps, then my husband saw the it, the Royal Moroccan Airline's customer service on the 2nd floor, almost right in front of Illy caffe where were drinking coffee.
Everything turned out better than we expected.
There are offices of many airlines at this airport, and all were closed already.
Airport is clean. Many employees of the airport (except for cleaning personnel and some individuals) and buseneses at the airport speak English.
We used currency exchange kiosk here, had coffee at Cafe (as I mentioned above).
Passport control was polite and respectful
I would choose same route again thanks to the good experience and out own experience now as well
Free Wi-Fi for 5 hours a day.

I was scared at first to come into the airport after reading the reviews on google, but they are all lies.

Unless you are carrying somthing dangerous or prohibited goods then you will be pulled by customs,

The customs officers and border officers are really nice, very polite, because i was polite to them. I got lost very quickly, and they showed me where i was supposed to be.

So far its been great

The airport is okay not big. The immigration process is too slow and many gift shops with beautiful goods and gew great food places and restaurants , best is people , so friendly.

Wonderful area to see many important buildings, including Hassan Palace, city hall, and more!

Great Airport.

Money Exchange before you wnter passport control. Sim cards sold when you get out of baggage retrievals and baggage control.

I am really thrilled writing this review and it is actually more about Royal Air Maroc....the official airline of Morocco than the airport.

I flew Royal Air Maroc from Nigeria to the USA and I must say it's always a pleasure flying this airline as the fly times are really fast. This time around, even though the total flight time was about 11hrs (note that a direct flight is about 12hrs minimum), I had a layover of about 15hrs when going back to Niigeria and unlike having to stay in the Royal Air Maroc Lounge with comfortable lounge chairs as shown in the picture which used to be the norm, I was given a hotel voucher and 2 meal vouchers for lunch and dinner! 😉

The hotel (Fly Hotel - Atlas Hospitality and Resorts) is actually within the airport and the single room i got had a comfortable bed & pillows with clean bedsheets, a wardrobe, mirror and television. There were general bathrooms and toilets which were clean and well maintained.

For the meal vouchers given, the food from Cafe Vero were OK....composed of chicken wraps, yoghurt, a drink or water.

Trust me, for the amount I got the airline return ticket for, these acts are highly commendable....and though they should be seen as normal...def not in this part of the world 😀.

Very clean and organised international airport. You can find much food and restaurants inside before departure. The restroom is also very clean and modern. It is around 40 minutes by taxi from city center. The check in speed is quite fast with efficient airport staff. There is also rest hotel and massage machine to relax if you have some spare time to spend in the airport.

No problems with airport.
Use the train to reach the city.
Security to enter has a long line.
If you are leaving the country you can exchange back from MAD to EURO the amount you have document proffing there exchange.
Or after you get your boarding pass an amount up to 2000MAD

Excellent service. We had a two nights stay and really enjoyed the food and the professional friendly Maître d and waiters.
Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a great stay.

A straightforward airport, but it has all of the necessities. From cafe, connecting train to the city, even a mailbox to send letters and postcards. The toilet could use a little more cleaning, but it’s quite adequate for what it is.

Didn't check for liquids which dus surprise me, my partner's case was checked. We had some souvenirs in his bag...I went through with no delay

Checked in at the desk, not online. We had our passenger locator forms, not checked so guess that's upon arrival...

An internal flight so not sure, but completed anyway. Better to be safe than sorry!!

Armes security presence, but not intimidating in any way.

Big and beautiful airport with state-of-the art facilities. Good things on seeing elderly people or family's with children; the immigration staffs quickly pulled them out of the long queue and ushered to the quick lane.

Sadly, some of the Duty Free shops in the Departure Hall did not accept AED! Only accept Euro dollar!

Hope the management of the airport could resolve this problem.

Not much seating when you have to wait around for your boarding pass, I only counted 32 seats lol. WIFI at least works here.

It's a clean and neat airport with lots of stores, terminal 1 is much better than terminal 2, in terms of modernity

This Airport has truly stood out. After a long flight, the hospitality of the employees was exceptional, creating an atmosphere of warmth welcome to Morocco.

The premises maintained an impeccable standard of cleanliness, enhancing the overall ambiance of the airport.

One notable aspect was the abundance of well-maintained washrooms, which eliminated any inconvenience during peak times, the airport boasted a commendable range of dining options..

I must also commend the airport for its inclusivity and diversity. As a traveler who has sometimes faced challenges for being black in certain Arab countries, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming environment at Airport Mohammad V. This positive experience truly highlights the strides being made towards a more inclusive travel experience.

I loved Morrocco I shopped so much and was very well treated the bathrooms are always clean and the workers you feel happy to tip them because they are so polite I love Traveling.Morrocco gave me a feeling of peace and love,the world is so much bigger than people with no goals or dreams know ❤ 💗

Friendly staff... Clean environment... Free WiFi... Charging ports at a stand and on some seats are also available... Social distancing and health rules are maintained... Lots of shops to peruse through... toilets are wheelchair accessible too and are many...

Found a spa where you can enjoy 5 minutes free massage for free at the "A wing/gate" region, I didn't try it because I was running late for my next flight...

Food courts are also available if you're hungry and want to feel up your stomach...

There are many boxes for voluntary donations for the children at risk in various climes... So if you are feeling generous or want to help out with a noble cause, you will find a way here....
