Je viens de restituer la voiture ce jour même (je l'ai prise du 30 juin au 20 juillet) à l'aéroport de Tanger, mon expérience de location de voiture chez Thrifty s'est très bien à ce jour

La voiture que j'ai eue correspond bien à la description et était en très bon état (mis en service en février de cette année)

J'ai bien pris soin d'elle (comme si c'était la mienne) et l'ai nettoyée Chez un garage de lavage et ai mis le plein avant de la restituer

Du coup, à la restitution on m'a dit qu'il n'y a rien à signaler et que rien ne sera prélevé de ma carte

Donc sauf une mauvaise surprise dans les jours à venir d'un prélèvement qui sort de n'importe où, je suis très satisfait de ma première expérience avec Thrifty

We read lots of reports about thrifty(which is actually Hertz everything is hertz labelled and you end up at the hertz counter) and were very careful because of this.

We were very careful whilst picking up the car in Fes and wary about possible tricks listed in other reviews.

We drove 2500km around all
Of Morocco and left the car in Casablanca. We took no extra insurance and had no problems. The drop of is hard to find. You must go through terminal 2 quick drop off/ pick up.

We also cleaned our car carefully before returning it at a self cleaning place at a gas station for 2 euros.

All personnel spoke English and were quick and helpful!

Be careful but we had a very good experience!

The worst company ever to rent from! They held my deposit of $1580 for almost 4 months for what they claimed was damaged to the car. Finally after I contacted them repeatedly they sent me a picture of a slightly damaged tire. They didn't want to reimburse me until I kept calling and calling and emailing everyone in their department, and yeah still not received a penny back from them.

I will call them scammers, thieves and a groupie of pirates as they do that for living and that's how they make money.

They did finally refund me some of the amount but they charged me almost $600 for a slightly damaged tire, wich I never heard of, I realized that I just got ripped off.

Very disappointed and frustrated and they are not going to do well.

Please be careful with a new way of legal swindle of this car rental company in Maroc: You have to authorize a huge deposit amount: €2020 ( MAD 21600) if you creditcard don’t have that limit ( and the most of the creditcards don’t have that limit) then you have to pay for extra insurance of €190!!! On top of the rent amount of €290 we already paid before. You don’t have any other choice!! So the total price of the car rent was €180 and the insurance was€290!! Again please be careful! Raise you creditcard limit on time or if not possible to raise it up: please rent your car at other car rental company with a normal deposit amount instead of this madness! It’s legal stolen of money!

The first thing the officer emplouyee attempted was to sell me an insurance that I didn't need and used a false claim - "you won't be getting your money back if you don't get this, I've seen it a lot " - even though they knew that I already had an insurance - due to my online reserve. The car that they gave me was filled with bumps and scratches and I still identified 5 more scratches and one seat hole that weren't on the manifesto.

The offices are in downtown Casablanca, so getting out of it - and the town itself - will be really hard for a beginner as the traffic is manic. Be carefull with that.

I've returned the car one day early (already paid for) and still they complained that the tank wasn't full (it was). They even tried to get me for a busted windshield wiper - forcing me to sign the manifesto - even tought I've only used once, when I cleaned the car right before delivering, and it still had water in it and no damage marks. In the end, after a lot of argumentation they acknowledged that all was good.

No more Thrifty services for me. The mentality displayed is normal for a bunch of scammers and not of a regular and normal business.

After returning the car with a damage in the front the employee told me I need to do nothing as I have insurance and the max I’ll pay is $50. Now after more than 2 weeks I see $1600 charge in my credit card by Hertz and my insurance say I should have filed a claim.

DO NOT USE: Yasine (who I dealt with) tried to over charge me for the insurance level I wanted, then when the car was returned they would not return my deposit as they claimed there was damage, (which there was not) whilst I had a full damage waiver anyway!
They are scam merchants stay away

Thieves - will tell you the deposit will be repaid and then come up with excuses not to give you it back! When you return car - they will tell you to pay 50 Euro so they can clean it?? Very bad customer service and very rude

As I see others have noted, this agency charged the entire pre-authorization of more than US$1600 to my credit card after the car was dropped off. Buyer beware.

J'ai loué un véhicule du 29/09/18 au 13/10/18 dans votre agence de l'aéroport de Tanger (N° de contrat 217176)
A notre arrivée à l'aéroport le véhicule que j'ai loué n'était pas disponible,car il a été envoyé à l'entretien le matin même.Nous avons dû patienter environ 2 heures sur le parking sous un soleil de plomb que celui-ci revienne de l'entretien.Le véhicule reçu était sale à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur.
Le gestionnaire de cette agence a fait preuve d'incompétence et de mauvaise gestion de la situation.Il avait le pouvoir de facilement résoudre ce problème en mettant à notre disposition un autre véhicule.
J'ai l'habitude de souvent louer des véhicules et c'est la première fois que je suis confronté à une telle situation,c'est inacceptable!

J'ai louer une Fiat Punto en mars 2019.a agadir aéroport la voiture ma laissé en panne a tiznit a 21h. J'ai appelé agence à l'aéroport rien ça répond pas j'ai appelé Casablanca une galère pour les joindre je suis tombée sur un MR incapable de trouver une solution et parle mal le français. je reçois un appel d'un MR me proposant un dépannage le lendemain matin vers l'aéroport d'agadir. J'ai perdu 48h à cause d'eux ils devaient m'apporter la voiture à tiznit j'ai pas été dédommagé thrifty agadir aéroport

UNE HONTE JAMAIS PRENDRE CETTE AGENCE DE LOCATION A AGADIR. Le contrat n'est pas clair et détaillé. Arrivée sur place problème de carte bancaire car c'est une carte de crédit immédiat et elle n'est pas acceptée. Une honte de faire ça aux gens. Bien entendu personne ne veut rembourser on s'assoit sur 182 €uros. GROSSE ARNAQUE HONTE à vous !!!!! Sous le soleil avec un bébé et les valises ..... Vous avez de la chance d'être au Maroc.

Voleurs ! Arnaque ! A éviter.

Ils nous ont volé, remplissent le constat à l arrache et vous accusent de tout les égratignures déjà existantes, et vous prenne la garantie totale sans rien dire . Ne répondent plus au téléphone comme par hasard !

Surtout n’ y allez pas !! C est une honte pour hertz !!

A eviter!! 550 euros de caution qui s'envole, pas de facture, pas de nouvelles, visite de restitution pas sérieuse. Pas de siège bébé comme prévu dans le contrat...

arrivee a 7h00 du matin ,j ai trouvee le bureau a 09h00 car il n y as pas de plaque qui indique leur bureau. j ai paye a l avance sur internet l assurance complette mais le gerant ma oblige de payer une autre assurance aussi il ma donne une voiture differente et pas semblable ,je recommande pas cette compagnie

C'est une arnaque a fuir il essaie de vous escrocs a la restitution du véhicule c'est comme sa qu'il se rattrape sur le prix

ATTENTION bien vérifier le véhicules avant votre départ car il veulent que vous payer plus lors de la restitution en plus on ma passer un véhicules en réserve d'essence a 23h sur soir a mon arriver a l’aéroport louer plutôt chez SIXT ou EUROPCAR des agence certifier et non pas des voleur comme TRIFFTY des surprises vous attent lors de la restitution du véhicules les marocain travaillant pour cette agence son des voleur attention en plus il ne communique pas en FRANÇAIS
