Restaurant Chez Nadia

Fantastic food, specially beef tajine with almonds and prunes. One of the best that I ate during 3 week stay in Morocco. The owner and his family are very kind and hospitable. Recommend.

We were guests at this restaurant in April 2024. The meals were just delicious! The chef even came to our table to make some recommendations. I, as a vegetarian, had the vegetarian tajine. It was the first time I had prunes, almonds, and chickpeas in it. I loved it! My husband had the pastilla. He was very happy with it, too! On top of this, you feel that they care. They really care about the way they treat their customers, they care about decoration, and they just put a lot of effort into their work. Highly recommended!

Visited today following recommendation. It’s slightly off the main streets but when I found it, I was greeted warmly and able to choose my table. The service from arrival until I left, was wonderful, calm and authentic.
I had the Moroccan Salad and Couscous Royale, both of which were fantastic and I had a bottle of chilled, sparkling water. The bill was 80 MAD, which is extremely reasonable.
The people who run this restaurant are lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon.

We were travelling by bike. By coincident discovered Nadia. Great food, good service and friendly people. Pastilla is fingerlicking good.
There is also a guesthouse where we decided to stay 2 nights. Nutricient and healthy breakfast.

Nadia cooks wonderful food! The courteous welcome you receive as you visit their house (well-hidden!) is warm and welcoming. It feels like you are part of the family for a short while as visitors and children come and go through the courtyard. Eating in the shade or on the rooftop at very reasonable prices. I will certainly return.

Delicious homemade food! Much better than other places we tried in Tafroute. Perhaps one of the tastiest tajines we have had in Morocco. Run by a charming family, we felt there like home. Highly recommend!

Great food (one of the best beef and prune tagines I've had in a long time!) and a very friendly family-run restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating options.
I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Tafraout.

Do not miss out when in Tafraout! Best food I have eaten in Morocco. You can’t really miss with any dishes. Chez Nadia is a culinary genius!

The lovely host alone, makes Chez Nadia worth a visit, but the food was over-the-top excellent. We had Couscous Royale, Chicken Tajine, Kefta Tajine, Salade Marocaine/Berbere, and rayyib. All were excellent and, in fact, we returned the next night. Fantastic value, great hospitality, exceptional cuisine.

Off the beaten path. Wonderful atmosphere. Very relaxing after a long day.

Visited Chez Nadia, after a friend recommended. The Beef, Prune and Almond Tagine was the best tagine I have had on all my visits to Morocco.

The atmosphere is very homelike. It's run by Ali and his wife Nadia. The food it's made at their home and they are very attentive to your needs and wants. If you're in the area, give it a try.

The hosts are a little bit shy but so respectful and kind. The food is very tasty and the place is beautiful.

They have fair priced vegetable tajine and couscous tagine any day, portions are generous, 40 MAD. Food is very good and you will be greeted by Ali's and Nadia's smiles when you enter their beautiful home-like restaurant.
