Riad Kalaa 2

A very nice little Riad in the center of the media in Rabat. Few rooms and a nice center "square" just outside the downstairs rooms. Here breakfast was served swiftly after you coming out of the room in the morning. A really nice breakfast with different bread, pancakes, fruits, juice and coffee.

We had a nice family room in two parts. Upstairs a double bed and downstairs two single beds. Nice bathroom though no door (just a curtain). Lovely decorated.

There is also a nice terasse and a small pool. Did not try due to low temperature.

An excellent place to stay our first night in Morocco! The staff was very friendly and accommodating & the rooms were gorgeous with modern bathrooms. Beautiful riad in a central location near many thing to do in the historic medina!

The rooms were stunning and spacious, the terrace and pool was an ideal spot to relax and cool off, and the staff were absolutely fantastic throughout - friendly, helpful and attentive. There was an outstanding breakfast with plenty of options and great service, served in the beautiful central courtyard of the Riad. And the location of Kalaa 2 is ideal too, right in the Medina. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We came into Rabat with nowhere planned to stay and stumbled upon this riad. It's very beautiful, modern, and extremely comfortable! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. We absolutely recommend staying here!

Magical. Tucked in the Medina (old city) in an alley, with a door you would never ever ever find without looking for it. Extremely beautiful and unique hotel. One of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed, for sure.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot. It's very unique, and kind of feels like you're in Aladdin's castle. The rooms are all different, which makes it even more fun. The breakfast is amazing! It is fairly far in the medina, which at first was kind of concerning since I arrived very late at night, but I was lead there by a local with a lantern (who expects tips, so keep some cash handy) so that helped. There's not much to eat around the medina late at night, so prepare for that. There is a late night food stand open though, so I frequented that stand since I usually returned pretty late at night. They also had a bit of an ant problem near the dining area, but since it's partially outdoors, that was understandable. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel if you like a super unique type of experience! The Riad Kalaa (1) is a bit nicer, so if you are more into luxury, stay there instead.

We didn’t want to leave. Stayed here for four nights with our three young children (4, 7, 9) and it was perfect. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, staff was attentive and warm, especially Mohamed who was super friendly. We loved being in the Medina, compared to our last visit at a hotel in Hassan which felt much more corporate and less intimate. Pool on the roof was key, and being within walking distance to tour Hassan and the Rabat beach was great for the kids too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I stayed at this Riad in February 2023. We were so impressed with the architecture and the ingenuity of the rooms. We loved staying in a traditional Moroccan space and although it’s kind of “open” between the floors, the Riad was relatively quiet (which is super important when one wants to rest/sleep). This hotel company has multiple locations in the Rabat Medina; the staff at this particular location were always super helpful and always had a warm smile/greeting for us whenever we saw them. They were also very helpful in helping us to navigate around the city and connecting us with other people in the city to help us accomplish our goals of having a great time!

The location of this Riad is perfect in that it is directly inside the Medina, positioned between both the professional artisanal area and the other local shops with more modern items. I loved that they always offered breakfast every morning, and when we actually had time to eat it, it was so good with the freshest fruits and the most delicious tea. They also have a wonderful rooftop deck with a decent pool on top, but being that it was February, it was not the best weather to utilize it. However— I am excited for our return, because I definitely plan on using it in warmer weather whenever we come back to Morocco! We highly recommend this Riad, and we are so glad that we found this wonderful place!

This is such a nice place. Literally heaven on earth! The staff, the room, the atmosphere, everything (actually) was perfect.

Not so far from one of the Medina's doors, this Riad is just amazing. Clean, beautiful and quite. Service and people are just perfect.

The best hotel I have seen in Morocco. Entrance through the market is annoying, but room was amazing.
