Go To Sushi Bar

Loved the food, loved the vibe, and the staff was very friendly. In summer, there is a lovely outdoor patio, with a heater for cooler nights. Definitely recommend.

Good value sushi, not expensive. 22€ for a two-person plate (small sushi plate) where you can pick your sushi and maki from the menu. Filled a man and woman. Alternatively there is a medium Plate for 35€.

They had cheese covered maki, which were suprisingly good.

The service was slow but okay. Still good Restaurant.

Good asian food, kind service, and Cēsija is always great to observe no matter where you are in it.

I had nigiri (tiger prawn, salmon), something that was crunchy on the outside but was similar to a dumpling in looks and how it's made (it had duck as its filling), fries with cheese and sweet chili sauce.

The sweet chili sauce was used a lot, but I had no issues with it since I like sweet sauces.

Great quality meal and service for the price!
The best dish was Kebab salad - just proper balance of spicy and creamy souce.
Those Kamo duck japaneese dumplings I would consider as a desert :)
A great feature is to check the menu online and order without waiting.

Had lunch with my family and honesty this was the best food i have ever eaten, not ridiculously expensive, expensive for a student tho. waiting was less than 30 min. super cozy and nice. the food was just top tier, even my strict grandma sad this is great food

Really good sushi in the most random of places. Staff member was working alone but you wouldn’t have known. Really reasonable prices as well. Worth the trip to the town alone.

I have ordered sushi multiple times from here and even went in person a few.

So my review encompasses around 5 deliveries and 4 times I went in person.

- About the delivery:
I live almost 20 km from the place.
I have had my sushi delivered even on harshest winter conditions within an hour. Sometimes an hour and 30mins.

- About the experience in person:
The atmosphere is comfy and the interior is quite in theme with "sushibar". Staff is polite.

- About the sushi and food itself:
My favorite are the hot sushi from this place.
Of course the regular (cold) sushi is great too, but I have yet to have better hot sushi anywhere else within Cesis, Valmiera and Riga at least. (Haven't been to sushi places outside of these cities.)
Outside of sushi I have tried their sweet potato fries. They were good quality and better tasting than most other places I have tried some.

That's it for my review.

Good prices and choices for 2-person sets (comparing with Riga). We took Love is .. set and were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very nice as well. I also liked the yoghurt cocktail, and the look of the desserts (didn't try). They have 4 outside tables right at the front and several more on the opposite street corner (self-service which means that the food will be put in take-away type of containers that you don't need to return).
It didn't take long for the sushi to arrive. Some 15-20mins at most on a Sunday around 6pm. And the drinks were brought first.

Over all I was surprized about this restaurant. Price/performance in very high level. Recomend

First time i have had the same food as shown on the menu. And it was DELICIOUS!

So i came here to eat and i was not expecting anything special. But when i got my food served it lookeed really exquisite and expensive. The servers were realy nice and cheked if i like the food. I really recommend this cosy spot.

Best sushi in Cēsīs, fresh and delicious, cocktails are great, service is amazing, dog friendly terrace outside. Loved it 100%.
