Great private collection/museum. The owner is super friendly and speaks a little bit English. It's hard to find since the signing is not really good.

It's a pity the owner speaks English only a little, but the collection, especially considering that it's personal - wow! And the way it's exposed also gets you years back in time :)

Everything about this place was fascinating. There was everything you can think about WW2, WW1 and the Soviet Union. Even real tanks, old cars, and a plane.

This is an incredible private museum dedicated mostly to the overlooked Battle of Courland at the end of World War II and Latvian involvement on both sides. The curator has assembled this museum through private collection throughout the Courland battle area, but substantially from the local area. An absolute MUST VISIT!!!

This is obviously a life long passion of the curator and obviously owner. Situated in a Soviet era administration block of the kolkoz it is the "real deal". His English is good and knowledge of the Latvian history especially ww2 forwards truly excellent. He deserves support . Go there. He wasn't open when we were in the area but did a special tour. Thank you Sir.

Very interesting. Even we didn't know Latvian or Russian language, kids also looked and listened everything. 8 years old boy dream was see real tank and now he did it.

Музей очень интересный. Сам хозяин все собирал и делал экспозиции. Сам проводит экскурсии и рассказывает про экспонаты. Собрано очень многое. Советское, Немецкое, Французское, Американское, и времен свободной Латвии. Советую посетить. Также если есть что-то времен первой или второй мировых войн, и можете подарить музею. Так же из Советской Латвии. Я очень доволен! Спасибо!

Очень суперское место. Музей который хозяин сам создал и собрал все что было во время войны. Танк, самолет, подводное снарежение. Отличное место.
