Polite and friendly staff. Shared to us a bit of history of lighthouse. Clean inside. Different path will lead to the beautiful wide beach place. Enjoy the nature, sea waves sounding. Close to the beach there is a tourist area with a toilet, fire place, and seatting place.

Doesnt work on mondays,u have nice picnic,camping spot on the little hill near the coast.Beach is big,place are visited by many people,ligjthouse isnt working on mondays thou.

Lovely beach and lighthouse you all got climb in if you are there , and beware not so small stones bellow water foots hurt a bit ;)

Beautiful place to visit, its not that high, but amazing view. On the right from it is a resting place and the beach. The prices are not that high 1€ for an adult, 0.50€ for a student, free for kids who are not students.

For small and fear price you can enjoy great landscape and get up on the light house. And if you aren't vaccinated don't badder to go there. Because they let in only vaccinated people.

The lighthouse stands in an isolated location, so to get there you have to drive through this ''magical'' forest. Amazing place!

If you'd ever wanted to experience actual watching how it feels to see a Beach from top of like a mountain or a house? I'd Really. Recommended coming here because it's fun and most likely near the normal beach is colder water but HERE! Is pretty much 20 through 45% hotter. So you don't really have to worry about getting cold. And it is one of the best / most known places in Uzhava. So you can bring anyone there and getting lost isn't quite hard so be careful too!

If you are here, you have to visit it. The friendly lighthouse Keeper will tell you a lot about the history of this lighthouse and can resolve to rise to the top. You will be able to see the device from the inside of the lighthouse and view the surroundings from the top.

Jūrkalne is a village in Latvia. It is the centre of a parish of the same name within Ventspils Municipality on the Baltic coast. Its former German name was Feliksberg, but its former Latvian name was Medeņciems. Jūrkalne was the birthplace of Abraham Zevi Idelsohn, the Jewish ethnologist and musicologist. source
