Restaurant O'Luso

After a long time I am rating 5 stars for a restaurant. Had a great experience overall.
• Service - Hospitable host who was knowledgeable and also made good recommendations
• Food - Poulet Grillé or grilled chicken was mildly flavoured yet was flavorsome; Gambas à Luso was a nice starter with butter sauce. The shrimps were tender and nice; and my favourite was the Lamb Meal - Grilled lamb with a portion of rice and salad just made my day. It had the right flavours, right spices and was mouthwatering. We ended our meal with a caramel based dessert which was tasty and fun to eat too.
• Ambiance - nice and cozy.

Simply amazing! We had scampi and grilled cod and it was one of the best dinners we’ve had anywhere. Don’t miss going to O’Luso’s when in Luxembourg. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food and experience was outstanding, one of our best!!

Excellent Portuguese food...I had the mixed brochettes and really enjoyed it. The Jackson Pollock dessert was awesome. The service was very good and the lone waiter very friendly and attentive. The J&B there is the best!😁

Amazing food. Authentic Portuguese.
The clams were fresh and cooked perfectly. The grilled octopus was mindblowingly tender and flavours were great. The burbot was juicy and sauce was heavenly.
Very friendly service to top it all off as well!
Was surprised that the place was not packed as we went on Valentine’s and other places were full. Definitely a gem worth checking out.

Very good francesinha. The atmosphere is a bit cold but it’s definitely worth the visit if you like Portuguese food. Very reasonable prices.

Hidden gem, It’s 3 minutes walk from the Park Inn by Radisson hotel, I ordered the octopus with Pawn, the portion was big and the food was delicious, Highly recommended! But the restaurant hours are wrongly listed in Google, At night it opens 7PM-10PM.

It was my first time in Portuguese restaurant and I was really surprised. Food was amazing and staff was really helpful and nice. The biggest surprise was francesinha, it was really good but personally too big portion. I really, really recommend this restaurant.

We’ve just had lunch here: vegetable soup, grilled bar, escalope…it was excellent home made authentic food. Fish was so tender and tasty it’s unbelievable! And their bread is of an excellent quality - also home made. We loved and ate everything! Pity we didn’t come here before.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at O'Lus that left me thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. I ordered the cordon bleu, and it was nothing short of amazing. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, cheese stuffing added a delicious richness to each bite. The crispy breaded coating was the perfect finishing touch that added a satisfying crunch.

But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly. My server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, checking in on me just the right amount of times to make sure everything was to my liking without being intrusive. I felt like a valued guest throughout my dining experience, and that's not always easy to come by these days.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The cordon bleu alone is worth the visit, but the excellent service really sets this place apart. I can't wait to return and try more dishes on the menu.

Simple cafe/restaurant with good service, fair prices and homemade-taste food. We arrived quite late, but felt welcome. Kids were served with food in less than 10 minutes, the waiter took good care of them. I would recommend to try this restaurant.

One of the best Portuguese restaurants in Luxembourg. Good variety of meat and fish plates, including bacalhau. Service, by the owner, is very well provided. Nice range of deserts.

Amazing pulpo/octopus, perfectly cooked and huge portions! Every time I come here I make sure to have dinner here.
