Luxembourg Airport

A very small airport but efficient. Passport control is relatively quick if you have a British passport, as you arrive or leave. I always use their Luxair lounge (as BA member) and is very good for breakfast and OK for lunch. But good wine.

Airport in the heart of the Luxembourg City with connectivity to the major countries in EU.
The airport is super clean and has good facilities. Sign boards are in French, German and English.
Staff is cooperative and amicable

The airport is very efficient, clean and tidy. Getting through passport control and security is a breeze and after duty free you are immediately at the gates with no walking. The airport has free charging boxes too. It has a modern feel to it and I would definitely fly through here again.

Nicely decorated for Christmas. Little and with not much choice duty free. Not that many places to eat and to get something on the plane. Otherwise nice

Located 8km from Luxembourg Centre this airport offers all usual amenities. Although on a smaller scale than larger European airports the access through baggage drop to customs is relatively quick and easy. There is a variety of car rental companies as expected. There some building works occurring in the area (July 2023) that will offer a suite of new services close by in the future. Stayed close by in the Ibis hotel the night before and early morning flight located just minutes walk to terminal. All in all no complaints and all very pleasant.

Small but efficient airport. Reduced size comes with lack of product range in the shops but the rest were excellent, from passport control to the toilets. Helped of course from the fact that on Sunday night it was almost empty. Happy overall!

Lux airport is my favorite. It is small, but functional. It has improved a lot in the last decades and even continues to expand. The airport serves more cities and places so it is easy to connect to Europe and the world. The airport is clean, plenty of counters to check in passengers, and the security lines move even if it gets busy. There’s also a fast track lane, but I don’t see a lot of people using it. It hardly suffers from Union and airline strikes so you know you can catch your flights. Well, the only time it was probably closed was during the pandemic. Otherwise, no nasty surprises there.

Inside, there’s a tiny duty free where you can also buy Luxembourgish wine and produce to bring as presents or for your consumption. Admittedly, there are not a lot of places to eat in Terminal A where I usually take my flights. But then again, this is not a big airport so I suppose it is adequate for the passenger volumes. If you’re flying out from the B terminal, there are more choices for dining.

Overall, I like it because it is easy to get in and out. Parking is definitely expensive, but the first 15 minutes are free so you have have to play it by ear and arrive when your passenger has already collected their luggage. Otherwise, most go to the NH hotel beside the airport and wait there. If you’re going away for a longer period, you have parking spaces covered or uncovered. Ofc, it will cost you some dough so you have to weigh it against the costs of taking taxis which are also expensive.

Very modern airport, available restaurant and cafes. Convenient seating and free WiFi. A lot of power points to work from as well.

Love this airport. Very small, yet clean. Wait times are non-existent. You're in and out. Customer service is trash but I didn't care-considering there's no long lines etc.

Very clean and lovely airport. Lux Business Class Lounge is a 4 out of 5 as a) the size is not overhelmig, which can cause that it feels full b) option for food and drinks are great but also not exentensive.

The airport is quite small but you can easily commute to central Luxembourg.

Small but nice airport. Don’t expect much once you have been through security. There is one bar a kiosk and a snack bar. Luxembourg has free public transport so use the buses !

Yes small but it is well organized and peaceful airport, and you can come 3-4 hours early to enjoy with airport facilities.
