Restaurant Matelots

We weren't sure what to expect when we decided to go here for dinner. The restaurant was quite empty when we reached. The servers were quite welcoming. The menu was mostly in French with English descriptions. However, nowhere is it mentioned in English that the items are all crepes. Headlines in English would have been quite helpful. Anyway, the waitress explained everything and suggested dishes. We ordered as per her suggestions and they were great. The crepes were awesome. We have never had anything like that before. They were delicious. The prices were quite reasonable given the fact that other restaurants were more pricey in the area. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and have a taste for crepes. I wish we had enough appetite to try the crepe desserts. I am sure they'll be great too. Maybe next time.

You have a great selection of high quality of ciders and the food is just amazing. You have vegetarian and vegan options. The staff really pay attention for your allergies and intolerances. The service put a lot of effort in adapting your preferences and requirements!

I can just recommend this place, you feel really in Brittany, the atmosphere is unique and cozy.

Our first time to try galettes and oh they were mouthwatering. Their crepes are by far the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place. They also have a wide variety of cider. Kid friendly restaurant: our little ones were given a toy and coloring menu.

A great coastal atmosphere with excellent gluten free and vegan options. They even customized my meal for me. The music is singer/songwriter easy listening. It was a great atmosphere to dine in.

Excellent service & food. Prices are very reasonable, so it won't break the bank. Mains are about 15-25 euros. They also have a massive selection of ciders available too.

Friendly service in a quiet little side street of the pedestrian zone. Very good food for Breton crepe and cider lovers. Will be happy to come back.

The food is really excellent here, it's one of my favourite comfort food places. The hot cider in winter is seriously amazing. I always eat as soon as my plate touches the table and never have time for pictures.

Mind-blowing pancakes! And I mean it. Extremely good ones, a wide range of choice and the absolutely great, one and only - salty caramel. You have to try it!

I can definitely recommend this restaurant. As a gluten intolerant, i was happy to find a whole gluten free menu. The galettes were delicious and so were the deserts (also gluten free option on crepes).

Fantastic spot. Great food and service. Lunch menu is incredible value. Crepes any way you like them (salty/sweet), nice cider…a favorite to recommend and on a nice quite side street.

Love this place for the traditional galettes and cidre. Do recommend without hesitation. For lunch the formula with a crepe as dessert is unbeatable.
