Everything was perfect. The food was presented beautifully, and it was delicious. It is a beautiful and cozy place to have a good meal. The staff is so friendly. One of the best cafés in the heart of Kandy. I highly recommend this place to everyone. 😊

Lovely food and drink that's healthy too!

The lime iced tea wasn't packed with sugar, which was a nice refreshing change.

We had the pumpkin toast (deliciously spiced) and the nourish bowl (packed with tasty healthy veg).

Place is cosy and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Cozy cafe in a hide street. Yummy breakfast! The toasts, the smoothie bowls, the coffee. Everything is sooo delicious that is difficult to decide what you want to have. All the staff is suuuper kind. I’ll come back for sure. They just have fresh milk or coconut milk.

Awesome place if you wanna get off the rush hor street, you should go here. Prices are higher but definitely worth it. Great atmosphere, wonderful, cheerful service and the coffee and food is delicious.

Awesome atmosphere hidden in the alley way little beach style oasis in the city. Great if you want to enjoy your coffee away from the busy road. Coffee is fair trade local product and roasted in the house. Love it!

Returning to this cafe after four years, I am delighted that its charm and quality have remained unchanged. It's rare to revisit a place and discover it still holds the same magic as on your first visit. This cafe continues to serve, in my opinion, the best coffee in all of Sri Lanka.

Nestled up a nondescript alley in central Kandy, climbing stairs leads you to this serene oasis. The atmosphere remains as cosy and chilled as ever, with beautiful murals adding to the cafe's unique character. The coffee is still excellent, a perfect companion to a leisurely breakfast. The added perks of nice background music and free Wi-Fi only enhance the experience.

I appreciate the old-world charm of the building and sincerely hope it withstands the test of time against modern developments. This cafe is a must-visit for anyone in Kandy, offering a peaceful retreat in the city's heart. Highly recommended for those seeking a quiet spot with great coffee and a relaxed vibe.

Great food, great cafe, great vibes! Great service. What more can I say! Love this little hidden gem. I had a delicious serve of scrambled eggs with avocado, loved the little additions and presentation, a wholesome feast. Pancakes looked incredible! Nourishing healthy smoothie bowls and juices.

Gorgeous breakfast, super cute space, light and airy and away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are so friendly, the smoothie bowl was delicious (and was offered a granola top up!). The coffee was delicious too!

Lovely cafe to take a breather from the busy streets! The food is fantastic (great portions, on the higher end price-wise, but justifiably), and the staff is super nice, very welcoming.
Their wifi isn’t the best (had to work a bit and used my hotspot) but if you’re just visiting it’s a great place to come and chill for a bit!

Banana + dates + beetroot smoothie is very delicious 😋 All their smoothies come without sugar and ice. The food generally is not spicy, also tasty and offered with original tobacco souce separetly.
Desserts are not too sweet and you can taste natural ingredients.

Fun atmosphere with great music and absolutely delicious food. Our whole family loved it. I split the Nourish Bowl (added chicken) and an order of Banana Pancakes with my husband and they were both so very good! Best food I’ve had since we’ve been here these past two weeks and I am already planning to go back.

It was a day when travelling with a 3 year old who responded to all the glories of Sri Lankan cuisine with “yuk” was getting old and Cafe Secret Alley was just what we needed, tucked away up a staircase at the end of an alley. It has bright, cozy, creative decor. A menu with a mix of tasty food options - egg on toast which the staff kindly adjusted for my fussy son, a power curry, a nourish veggie and rice bowl plus delicious carrot cake - and it was all really good! The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and overall made it an easy place to take a break (even whilst with a tiny tornado). I’d definitely come again..

Came here for coffee and brunch and it was fantastic! Such lovely service, really good coffee and by far the best smoothie bowls on the island. It has a really nice chilled vibe too - highly recommend!
