Kanneliya Ticket Office

Great place to visit for everyone who loves nature. Kanneliya rain forest has been identified as one of the floristically richest areas in South Asia.
Tickets price (June 2023)-
Entrance = 120LKR(local)
Guide Fee starting from 900 LKR To 2000LKR and it's depends on the Trail.

We visited Kanneliya on November 24 the this year ( a Thursday) we started the hike at 9.30 n finished it at 4.30. it's recommend to get there at 8.30 am as the place closes at 5.30. the hike was amazing. It's mandatory to get a guide from the ticket office. Our Mrs Lata was amazing! Ticket fee for local adults is Rs120 . And guide fee is Rs2000/= ( the guide fee changes depending on the trail we choose) the trail we choose cover the natural cave, anagimala ella waterfall, giant navada tree, and narangas Ella waterfall. There are resting points near each place. There is also a bathing spot near the ticket counter. But we didn't have enough time take a bath. Kabbale trail was closed when we visited. Make sure to wear leech socks.

The best place to go with your kids and family and the place to take a shower without risk. we cannot do many activities here. We can only visit. There is a place to have a bath at the entrance. A guide is compulsory for the trip

Tickets issue taking less time and we'll managed system to cope with lots of visitors as the number of guides are limited and all of the is well known about the place.
