We were passing by and hopped in to this place for breakfast on our way to Kandy. If I had to describe this place in two words, it was "Simply Awesome"! First, the staff were welcoming, and the place was kept clean. The garden is terraced and could park easily. Now, the food... That was one of the best breakfast meals i have had outside of home! Authentic Sri Lankan buffet breakfast available every day. And of course you can order from the usual specialties like, Coconut roti, pittu, hoppers and string hoppers etc. The food was very authentic, fresh and tasted great. They stated that no flavor enhancers were used, and I could say that was true. A decent sized place, and there was enough tables for everybody who came to eat. Toilets were available at the back yard, and could be improved though.

On our way from kandy to Colombo via Kurunegala we found this Gem of a place. They had many local options. They have a breakfast, lunch buffet as well. Quick service and friendly staff. Price is very reasonable and food taste excellent. Highly recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gamisisila Local Food Restaurant, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The menu offered a delightful variety of local dishes that were bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed කිරිමාලු කරිය (Milky fish curry) which was an absolute culinary delight. The presentation of the food was impressive, and it was evident that great care was taken in the preparation.

One of the most hygienist food court in the middle of Kandy-Kurunegala main road. Rich with the nature environment and best place for local food. Delicious meal specially without and artificial favours. Very calmly spot with sufficient parking. Very friendly crew with pleasant service. Highly Recommend ..

There is delicious food. No artificial sweeteners. Breakfast and lunch are available. Clean place. Would recommend.

Good tasty foods. There are not much varieties available, but tasty. They have to improve the service, because waiters have less discipline and manners. Also, it is better if they allow card payments.

A really nice atmosphere surrounded by mountains. The place is so homely and reminds us of the Sri Lankan culture and food. Food tastes awesome!

Beautiful location around. It's a buffet meal here. Rice and curry available with meat or fish varieties. Foods are tasty. Several dessert options are available too. Price is reasonable. Clean premise. Parking can be found inside the premises or road side.
Wash room facilities available. But not the best you can find.
