One of a hidden place in Matale.A best place for night camping. 360 view on the top. Ticket price is 150LKR per person. They charge 3000lkr for night camping. View is amazing.

The name board said "Lone Tree Point" . Beautiful views all around. An individual came with a ticket book and we had to buy at LKR 100/ per person. There is no entrance, gate or barrier.

Also known as One tree Hill. The path is extremely rugged and only vehicles with proper ground clearance can reach the top. No water access as well. The view is breathtaking! Following the google map will mislead you! Get to Alawatta then bandarapola, then to kandenuwara and from there you'll see hoardings mentioning one tree hill camp site.

It's a hidden place of a gem in matale, such a lovely breeze to experience. It's a place for a family to spend the evening and watch the sunset, it has little huts and bench to view the nature.

Night camping ⛺ are also allowed, contact the relevant office to get the permission, per person 500 rupees now.

Drive a SUV 4x4, three wheel or bike to reach the locations, cars or less ground clearance vehicles are not recommended.

Keep the area clean and safe for nature lovers.

Good Location ! 270 view. You can travel to the camping site with the vehicle , SUV , Alto . elite .
Water available . Well maintained.

Don't use google maps to find the location . Ask from villagers .. They called it KandeNuwara. No one knows this place as One Tree Hill.

Really nice place to visit in Kandy. A really beautiful sunset can be seen here if you go evening.

An amazing place with a beautiful view...Front slope faces to Matale town and other sceneries are Kandy town, Hunnasguri and Knuckles mountain ranges. Good to visit in evening to see the sunset. Well maintained by the estate and site keeper is doing a good job to keep the top nice and clean. By a SUV reaching to the top will be easy, or park the vehicle at the estate gate and hike is about 800 meters.
