Very nice hotel with friendly staff which makes all the difference..
The hotel organized a complementary high tea for our office group and went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one at Anuradhapura. The pool is nice, clean and child friendly. The rooms are quite spacious with clean bathrooms and other essential facilities including wifi. Their Kitchen maintains good hygiene standards with state of the art equipment. Add to this their simple & delicious buffet is awesome. Ideal place to stay when going on a pilgrimage / paying a visit to the historical places in the area or madu church. Probably the best city hotel in Anuradahapura area. Thank you for the lovely memories..

Good clean no frills value for money accommodation. Service was not as excellent as on my last trip but staff were friendly and tried to assist wherever possible.

Well maintained 20m swimming pool. Western food is not great but large portions, Sri Lankan is very good. Ask for a room overlooking the pool as the balcony is lovely. Decent showers with hot water although water pressure is not very high. Comfortable bedding. Still Recommended.

We went a trip to Anuradhapura and we stayed In This Marvelous Fabulous Fantastic Hotel. No matter what others say for me its 10 out of 10 stars. Their Everything were on top level. foods are divinely tasty. rooms were very perfectly maintained And in the room their was a water bottle made out of Glass filled with water.I was happy to see that in my first time.swimming pool was Also nice and better.Thank you very much for treated us like this and I wish All the best For the staff and the hotel. I am remembering this hotel every time. I cant help It ❤ I am begging to god please give me another chance to come here.

We were welcomed with warm smiles and attentive service.The hotel is located in a very convenient location to all the main attractions and nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city.The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the private balcony overlooking the pool was a delightful spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.The restaurant offered a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive, and every meal was a delightful culinary experience.The hotel has a large swimming pool with on duty pool attendant.We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience.

A cozy place close to the main attractions in Anuradhapura. Very friendly and helpful staff, and good service. The tank beside it facilitates good birdwatching.

Good place to stay and the food was nice. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. They even prepared the milk rice offering to Sri Maha bodhi for us by 6am. It would have been helpful if an elevator was available at the premises for people with mobility issues.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. Absolutely. We had very good experience. Service is excellent, staff is kind and supportive also food is excellent. Highly recommend, and we will book again when we are in SL next holiday.

The stay at Rajarata Hotel was very good. Specially the hotel staff went out of the way to help us when we wanted a pack lunch to get back to colombo by train. The food was excellent. Rooms were very comfortable and clean .looking forward to go again.

This is my repeat visit after about 6 years since I visited last. Nice atmosphere and full of tourists stay hear. A very good 4 star hotel near the Anuradhapura city.

It was an amazing stay at Rajarata, & is the perfect serene environment to relax after a good walk through the ancient city in the hot sun. The quality & taste of food is beyond words. Taste is King!!! Really love the variety of food they offer (Traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, Western & many more). The staff is really friendly, and they went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable & comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Anuradhapura. Your stay at Rajarata will definitely add more cherishing memories to your vacation. <3 <3

We had one day stay in Rajarata Hotel. Serene area, but I wish more greener would be there around the pool area, because of the hot sun in April season. Kind staff & friendly service.
They helped us to prepare milk rice to be offered to Ruwanweli Seya. Rooms were cleaned but some toiletries in the bathroom were not available.
Food was delicious, but we expected western food items for breakfast. However, total experience in this stay should be appreciated. I recommend to anyone that if you want to stay in Anuradhapura, this is one of the best hotels for you, other than Heritage.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Anuradhapura. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the Rajarata Hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.

Rajarata hotel is in a good location . 10 minutes drive to Pooja bhoomi.

Food was tasty and good spread (Buffet) we enjoyed the food and had a very enjoyable stay.

Although there are fewer options in Anuradhapura, Rajarata Hotel is the best hotel to stay with family.
The staff is kind and friendly. They provided Milk rice for morning puja for free.
Both dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious and had Sri Lankan and Indian cuisines.
Rooms are comfortable and worth for the rates. Driver rooms available upon request but charged separately.

Its worth for the price . Good variations . Vegeterian friendly and food is delicious as well. Staff is also friendly and supportive . The pool is not that upto the standard but ok! This plan be recommended !!

This was one of the best hotel I stayed in Anuradhapura. The room was neat and clean went I walked in. They had maintained the swimming pool well. Food was beyond delicious. The Front Office Executive (Heshan Kumarathunga) was really kind & helpful.
