Caspian Riviera Grand Palace Hotel

Big hotel, (i guess everything in Kazakhstan is big with me).
First impression is staff were very nice. We check in midnight so they made very quick.
Great view from everywhere.

Food is really good. Make sure you try the fish!

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family. Interesting setting to see the fish on the 1st floor. Very nice view and service in our room. Comfortable bed and pillows(!). The only note is that the cleaning personnel constantly missed some items to take away from our room, like glasses, plates and trays from room service. Other than that very nice experience, very friendly personnel ready to go an extra mile for your comfort. There is a pool, 1.8m deep and there is a separate vip zone with sauna and Jacuzzi. Be advised that the extra charge and advanced reservation are required for the VIP zone. We did not try the restaurant itself but the room service meal from the restaurant was nice. Epesially recommended the pasta with chicken, mashrooms and cream sauce. The hotel also has a very central location that makes it only pleasant 15-20 min walk away from nice restaurants, few minutes walk away from the sea side walk and the grocery store with all basic needs is just across the road. In early May Manila and Marrakesh beach was closed but it's like 20 min ride from the hotel. Another 10 min ride and a nicer Dostar beach is available. Do not expect the Turkey stile or Dubai stile beach but you can get your feet wet and get tanned)

Best views, service and food. Totally affordable. A place every person in Aktau must visit. Hotel has a built in aquarium in the wall and floor of one of the restaurants. I had the best steak in town.

The place is really good. It is a good place to have a dinner with some good view. Time has to be appointed beforehand, as it is only a personal room for one group of people. Also there is a charge for entrance.

The waiter seemed a bit miserable but otherwise a pleasant visit. Tiramisu was fine.

Easily the best hotel in Aktau. Excellent service, food good and amenities great. Plus the Aquarium is amazing.
