Overall good. Inability to control temp in winter makes it feel like a sauna in your room. Walls are thin. Otherwise, front desk is very professional and cordial, and the bar staff at Librarian are very friendly and accommodating.

Good hotel, helpful staff, easy transfer from airport.

Nice place to stay. Helpful staff and good breakfast. Due to recent unrest they completely stopped visitors from entering the hotel, so if u want to catch up with people not staying in the hotel, will need to make alternative arrangements. But for this, the stay was great.

This is a great hotel! End of story. Our tour group arrived early, around 10:30 and they allowed us to check in early which was very nice of them.

The hotel looks great, the rooms are huge, beds are comfortable, staff are friendly and the air conditioning and heat actually work. This place has an amazing gym and a restaurant called Champions that is cozy and fun. This is everything you can ask for in a five star hotel.

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazing, as is the Sunday Brunch and dinner at the Library bar. Nice relaxing sofa area to have a coffee and read. Facials are great though back massage hurt! Haha. Went for business, will return as a tourist.

The hotel is of 5 stars level, clean, cozy, nice swimming pool and fitness center. The hotel’s staff is very kind. Food is delicious, fresh, there is a great choice at the buffet, good breakfast, perfect French pastry and bread, dishes are very flavorful. I ate burgers at Champions. It was great, high quality, very low prices, then I had pizza at Library - just perfect! Baursak cafe is very nice, pastry is delicious, just one thing there is no one to serve, perhaps you need to look for some more service. This is the only thing to change, I think.

Very well-run hotel in a good location. I've stayed here 3 separate times over the past 6 months. The service, quality of rooms and quality of food is consistently good and on par with nice hotels in the US. Past reviews have mentioned wi-fi. They do have wireless internet in rooms, but you have to pay around $12 USD/day for basic which is about 2 Mbps or $15/day for higher speed. I found the basic to be and reliable and suitable for anything I wanted to do even streaming Netflix or making internet-based phone calls. Marriott rewards membership may get you a discount or free, and many local companies have special rates that may get you fee internet and/or breakfast. Rooms are very nice and clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. A/C works great in summer, but on my last visit in October it seemed they had turned the A/C off for the season. It was in the 40's F outside so I can see why, but I like it really cool at night and my room wouldn't get below about 70F no matter where I set the thermostat. Breakfast buffet is a very extensive "all you can eat" affair for about $24 USD. Room service prices were reasonable as well. All food is good and well-presented. The sports bar upstairs has been recently renovated and is now bright and modern. The health club is fantastic and free to guests. Includes an indoor lap pool, hot tub, sauna and a large gym. All staff are friendly, helpful and speak English well. The lobby is currently under renovation, but they seem to be making good progress and I would expect it to be done soon and to look even nicer. As others have said, there is a decent mall two buildings to the west with a large grocery store, electronics store, several clothing and jewelry stores, a good restaurant (Blackberry) and a bowling alley. Another good restaurant called "Joy" is directly across the street to the north.

Top five star hotel in Atyrau. Has a small swimming pool, many conference rooms, open air bar and cafe, good smiling personal, nice interior as well as exterior shapes. Very comfortable place to spend ypur business pr leosure trip

I would like to thank Elena Morozova, a hair stylist from the Health Club spa center in the Renaissance Atyrau Hotel. She is very well known professional master of hair in Atyrau and what is also not less important, Elena’s communication skills with the guests are so amazing, always a pleasure to visit that place. Over the many years of cooperation, there has never been a case of any conflicts with Elena’s appointments, she is managing any situations with true professionalism and elegance.

Ball rooms are nice. It has nice bar and some cozy place just to sit or have a meeting. Free billiard is also an asset.

Pretty comfortable hotel. Pleasant hosts. Very hospitable. Will definitely stay here again.
