Jinju National Museum

Really love this place, well managed and organized. The theme changes sometimes for guests can enjoy new dimension, especially it’s free of charge. Highly recommended this museum.

I spent over 2 hours inside this museum and I left with new learning (info) about Korea and its people. It gave me insight on Korea's history and the battle fought at Jinju and what's left with its fortress.

The museum is well curated. It's amazing that they were able to preserve do many items (jars, weapons) from thousands of years ago as well as diaries and manuscripts, clothing, photos etc. They also have English translations and captions.

Definitely a great place to learn more about Korean history.

Impressive in its museography. It's dynamic and you get to learn a lot thanks to its videos and explanations on the walls.
Plenty of info in English.

Museum is interesting. It tells about a 7-year-long Imjin war that started in 1592 as Japan invaded Korea. It is located right on the territory of the fortress. We liked the museum gift shop too.

Has a lot of English explanation as compared to other museums in Korea and I enjoyed the collection and effort put into this museum

The most amazing staff! I came here in June on a rainy day without an umbrella. While I was in the museum, a massive downpour started. I had walked here from my hotel, about thirty minutes away. I stood outside the museum under the awning, trying to figure out the quickest way to get back because I knew the rain wouldn't stop, and one of the girls at the desk came out and asked if I had an umbrella. When I said 'no', she ran back inside and brought me one that had been left long ago in the lost and found. I cannot tell you what a difference that made! She absolutely went out of her way for me. Great people, and the museum itself too is actually really great, too.

My family visited this museum last July 2023 We learned a lot about Korea history. So fun and educational!

This place was so interesting and had great signage in English. Great to get a feel of history. The entrance fee was very low. Perhaps 3,000 or lower. Good and entertaining if you like history. So many people were playing pokemon go here so I guess it's a good place for that too
