A beautiful place at day to roam. You would enjoy the walk and the green of its grass and trees. The national museum is a must. Great museography and spectacular items in display.

Entering the fortress costs less than 2 euros per person so don't doubt it. The museum is free.

A great way to spend an afternoon in Jinju. It is an interesting place to look around and take in some Korean culture especially if there is entertainment on going in the open air theatre. It also makes a very pleasant walk away from the cars with an interesting view at every turn. Keep your ticket and you can come and go all day if you want to pop out to a bar or restaurant or visit one of the interesting antiques shops you can see from the wall.

One of the best parks I've been to in Korea. Beautiful traditional architecture, a great view of the city and lovely park/greenery.

The fortress is finely restored classic Korean architecture. It's a sprawling complex on a hill overlooking the scenic Namgang River. It's at its grandest during the river light festival during the first two weeks of every October. Lights, street food, concerts, skits, fireworks, and more. You'll love it.

The place I recommend is Jinjuseong Fortress.
Jinjuseong Fortress is located in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do.
Admission is 2,000 won for adults and 1,000 won for teenagers.
The history of Jinjuseong Fortress is also the site of one of the most fierce battles during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592.
Jinjuseong Fortress is different from what you see during the day and at night.
If you were looking around Jinjuseong Fortress during the day and looking at historical sites, it would be fun to see the night view at night.
There is a Namgang River right in front of Jinjuseong Fortress, and Jinjusi City has a Yudeung Festival every year, so it will be more cool in the evening I personally recommend this place.
If you come to Jinju, I recommend you to go there.

Jinju fotress is a good place to learn the war of Chosen(Korea)-Japan in 1592. There is a rock called Euiam with a sad story. The woman called Nongae jumped from Euiam into the Namgang river hugging with a victorious japan general to revenge.
There is a big pavilion called Chockseukru too. Many citizens and visitors now rest peacefully in that pavilion.

One of the oldest Korean castle. Korean had tried to defense this castle from Japanese in late 16 century.

An awesome place to soak in the Korean culture and history. Especially if you go in the month of October, you can enjoy the Lanterns Festival on the Namgang river, by which the Jinjuseong Fortress is located. Spread over a wide expanse, the fortress will definitely help you calm yourself with its serene natural beauty and small treks that you can undertake to get a panoramic view of the whole place.
