Samgaksan Doseonsa Temple

Walked the trail up to this temple just for the experience. It is definitely worth a visit for sightseeing or to find a peaceful place to rest your mind and body. The artistic elements of this temple were beautiful and it is very close to the official mountain hiking trails.

A Buddhist temple at the foot of Samgaksan Mountains. A goodly walk from the nearby subway terminal. Also, a nice hiking trail to the Yong-am Gate start from here.

This was an amazingly beautiful temple. I truly enjoyed the experience of color, light, sound, and beauty. The smell of insense in the air really does take one to another place of peace and spirit.

Very nice temple, can be extremely busy during Buddha's birthday or other Korean celebration like Juseok or Seollal. Great to combine a hike in Bukahansan and finish the walk in Doseonsa...I would also recommend to try some of the restsurant on the way down to UI station!

Fun Temple to visit. The walk up is steep but enjoyable and the temple is attractive. I particularly liked the carvings around back of individual holy men.

Such blessing here for anyone! May all the powers that be protect the chanting monks and other practioners voiced, and their sacred discipline, for the sake of everone!
