Nice street with pretty cafes, hanok style restaurant and cute shops. A lot of shops selling Gyeongju 10000 won bread and specialty breads. Snack kiosks all over.

This place is like you walk into a Korean drama series. Most of the trad houses are turned into cafes, restaurants, guesthouses, shops and offices. It's very interesting to explore through the alleys. Especially around 5pm people come out to walk around for food and drinks. It's basically a walking street for Gyeongju.

Gyeongju is a hidden gem for most of us foreigners. A small but very picturesque town that centers around their tomb complex and it’s history. The parks, tombs, and charming streets will conquer your heart 💖

Hundreds of well renovated Hanoks with restaurants, bars and shops. The place has a really historic feel to it but at the same time modern stores and products are sold here.

Gyeongju in general has done a great job of bringing the ancient capital to life whilst moving forwards with modern culture.

I recommend 소옥 for 갈비 (ribs) or 료고 for tonkatsu.

You can do plenty of things here, there is a lot of cafes to choose from (slightly more expensive than in other places), hanbok and other costumes to rent (All for a price around 10,000₩ an hour), golf car-like cars to drive around and photo booth cabins.
I recommend going during weekdays, at least in winter, as it’s not filled with people.

This place is really cool since it has beautiful murals and each streets have cafes where you can spend time. There are also restaurants if you want to experience a different vibe compared to other cities since the architectural design of most restaurants are really traditional.

Hwangridan-gil is the culture street of Hwangnam village where there are many renovated Hanok Korean traditional style restaurants, cafes, old and modern building full of giftshops, studios and stores. It is now the Instagram hotspot and must visit place in Gyeongju city.
I lost track of time wandering around these valleys taking photo while enjoy the delicious food and drinks around many pretty cafes and restaurants. Also, the main attractions such as: Cheomseongdae and Daereungwon are nearby within walking distance.

Cafe alleys, but I prefer calling it Cafe Village hahaha. even just walking around taking pictures for 2hrs was fun here! so many things to see, not just cute unique cafes, but also accessory stores, hanok styled houses, photo studios, clothing stores and wall art. i recommend u all to charge your phone fully, bring powerbank and make sure you have enough photo storage

Wow had so much amazing options for cafes and restaurants choosing one was a problem! Had a really eclectic environment from traiditnal hanok houses to really modern minimalist cafe styles. You can find anything your liking while enjoying the warm envorinment and the good coffee. Only problem is it is a really popular place so visiting at rush hours may be not the best option!

This place is Hwangridan-Street in Gyeongju.
It is easy to get to there. First, take a 70 bus in Gyeongju station bus stop and get off at the Hwangridan-Street bus stop after 20 minutes later. Then walk for 6 minutes, you can see the Hwangridan-Street.

This street is clean and beautiful, so it's fun to look around. It has a really historic feel to it but at the same time modern stores and products are sold here. Because there is a royal tomb from the Silla period and a variety of restaurants, including Japanese and Western cuisine. And it is really cool since it has many beautiful cafe and restaurant made Hanok design. There are many different street foods and it is good.
But it's a bit expensive. And it is crowded with many visitor and parking is very difficult.
