Yangnam Jusangjeolli Cliff Observatory is in Gyeongju Province. I had an amazing experience and peaceful place to unwind. As you can see the stone structure, it was unique and beautiful in the eyes for those who visit. You can go near the shore, but there's many rock and it needs to be careful. Overall the view is satisfying and beautiful.

You have to go on a clear day to see the scenery. A foggy day is not seen far away.

울산과 인접한 경주 양남 주상절리 입니다.
해안을 낀 둘레길로 주차장에서 등대까지 도보로 왕복 약 1시간이면 충분한 코스입니다.
중간중간 예쁜카페도 많이있고 연인과 가족이 둘러보기 적합한 장소입니다.
포항에서 경주 울산까지를 합했을 때 울산대왕암 정도를 제외하고는 가장 볼거리가 있는 장소라고 생각합니다.

경주에는 천연기념물로 지정된 문화유산이 총 3가지 있습니다. 하나는 경주 북쪽 안강에 있는 육통리 회화나무, 다른 하나는 경주개 동경이 그리고 마지막 하나가 바로 이곳 양남 주상절리입니다. 주상절리하면 제주도 중문의 대포주상절리가 유명한데 제주는 수면과 수직형태의 주상절리인 반면 이곳 양남 파도소리길 일대 주상절리는 수직을 비롯해 수평, 비스듬한 주상절리 등 다양한 형태의 주상절리가 많아요. 그 중에서도 단연 압권은 이른바 부채꼴 모양 주상절리라 불리는, 전망대 바로 앞에 있는 주상절리입니다. 그 형태가 특이해 세계에서도 몇 없는 특이한 형태에요. 그냥 바위라고 생각할 수도 있지만 인류가 살기 훨씬 전 부터 이곳에 있던 존재라고 생각하면, 혹 살아있는 생물이라면 참 다양한 시간을 보아 왔겠다 재밌는 상상을 할 수 있는 곳입니다.
