남해군 평산포 북쪽의 낮은 구릉에 위치한 임진성은 임진왜란때 군.관.민이 왜적을 물리치고 향민의 재산과 생명을 보호하기 위해 쌓은 성이다
그래서 민보성이라고도 부릅니다

2022년 보물섬 남해방문의 해를 대비하여
지금 유지 보수중이네요

Well worth a visit. Interesting site with great views. The road in is not for the faint hearted, but rest assured it is possible to turn round at the end.

임진왜란때 왜적을 막기위해 만든 성
"민보성" 아라고도 함
올라가는 길이 좁고 경사가 심해
주의가 필요하고 차를 세워둘수 있는
공간이 있긴 하나 매우,아주,몹시좁음..!
