Mallipo Beach

Wonderful cafe to enjoy the view south on the main drag (runs parallel to the beach and excellent pizza on third floor of Italian Cafe - also on main drag. Look up and you'll find it; recommend the prosciutto pizza! A very relaxing beach with starfish from time to time. You can throw them back! There is a big tidal change and easy 40 mins drive from Seosan.

One of the cleanest beaches in Korea. Great spot for flying kites, beachcombing, and swimming. Small waves are good for learning surfing or stand up paddleboarding. Low tide goes way, way out, so prepare for a walk out on the sand.
If you can, avoid driving along the waterfront, as it becomes too crowded to get anywhere. Park on the north end by the CU or in the large lot near the main entrance to the beach.

Beautiful beach! Food is not a problem because there are convenience stores and restaurants around the area. Public bathrooms and showers are available too. We stayed in a pension house in a beach front so we can see the beautiful view of the place. Definitely going back.

Loved it! The weather on this Sunday in later September was perfect for a day at the beach!! The sand was soft and the water just a little chilly made for a fun time walking around and checking things out!! Going back next weekend to go camping! Can't wait!!

I always enjoy mallipo beach. It's not as loud as the beaches in busan. Plenty of aces to eat too.

This is one of my favorite beaches that I've been to in South Korea. There was not a lot of people, it was peaceful. The beachfront was large and shallow. Great for children and adults alike. I wish I had gone here during the summertime. Plenty of hotels and pensions to stay at with a mostly seafood selection for food. Also next to a small carnival area for children.

I really enjoyed myself with my friends. They have nice hotels which are close to the beach and makes life easy, lots of restaurants with good food.

Beautiful sandy beach 😍. Not very crowded. Plenty of restaurant option for fresh seafood, as well as convenience stores. Highly reccomend!

Best beach in South Korea so far. Sand is fine. The beach is clean.

White Sand Mallipo beach in Taean is a perfect place to hangout with family and friends. There are some hotel, motel, bar, camping ground, restaurant, foodstreet, surfing board rental and small amusement park. Around 3 hours from suwon and around 4 hours from seoul. The beach so big don't worry about crowd people. There's not too much people in this perfect beach. This beach also sooo clean. I love this place.

Best beach on the west coast! There is plenty of beach to find your favorite spot. Bring your own umbrella for shade and tube to float in or rent from the venders in the beach. There is plenty of parking within a short walk from the beach. There are many carnival games for the children. And best of all many restaurants will great staff to serve you with the best hospitality.
