Much better than Mokpo Modern History Hall 2. The English and Japanese translations were very accurately done. Great to learn more about the history of Mokpo.

Paid $2 per pax, dint manage to see much Hotel de Luna themed attractions. BUT I dint watch the show anyway.

For those who are into Korean dramas, this is where 'Hotel Del Luna' was filmed. If you're in Mokpo pay a visit to this place. Near it there is a shelther used during the Japanese invasion that worth seeing it.

It's famous for movie scene called Hotel De Luna with 2,000 entrance fee. There are 2 story where you get to know more about Japanese handover period in Mokpo and land reclamation process.
Don't forget to check the tunnel behind the building

Yesterday I visited the modern embassy called Hotel DeLuna Background and went to the cafe Sohn So-young Gallery, which I wanted to visit.
The background outside the cafe was doubtful whether 2019 is right now.
Without car and asphalt, I was so surprised that I could believe it in the early 1900s, and I was very surprised by the cafe atmosphere, the background, and the weather. It was amazing. Senator Sohn Hye-won's trial is being held, and I hoped to cheer up and reveal the truth.

The Museum of Modern History is a place where Korea suffered from plunder from the Japanese colonial period. In order to secure food resources, the Japanese changed the streets to Japanese style by securing Mokpo as a port to go out by boat. But nowadays, it is becoming a popular tourist spot.

Mokpo modern history museum is a place where keeps a pain of Japanese colonial period.
It's a past I'd like to forget, but it's a good place to learn historical lessons from the site of Japanese colonial period.
There is a statue of a girl that shows a painful past at the entrance to the history museum.
The more it leads to the exit, the more heart-wrenching scenes of history ensue.
Recently, this place became famous for filming the drama "Hotel Delunah", but we should remember the painful history of Japanese colonial period.
If you are traveling in Mokpo, I recommend visiting this place.

It was a great time to think about independence movement in the countryside of the republic of Korea.

U can try the clothes back times and get some photos with Korean flag in one hand protesting in the street 4 independence.

Small, but nice museum. Most of the exhibits are translated into English as well.
